The Mad Guardian

Chapter 33 33: I'm Her Husband!

"Grandson, my precious grandson!"

Seeing Qiushi beaten like this, Chang Lan was so distressed that she nearly fainted.

She hurriedly trotted over with her small feet and helped Qiushi up.

Looking at Qiushi again, his face was wounded, his hands stained with fresh blood, he looked utterly disheveled!

Qiushi cried out in pain, glaring at Jiang Chuan, and complained to Chang Lan, "Grandma, he actually dared to hit me, you must avenge me!"

Chang Lan, leaning on her cane, glared at Jiang Chuan and coldly questioned, "Kid, who exactly are you? You have quite the nerve to dare hit a member of the Qiu Family on the Qiu Family's turf!"

Jiang Chuan smiled faintly, stepped back a few paces, and sat back down on the sofa.

Then, he said nonchalantly, "My name is Jiang Chuan, I'm Qianyu's husband!"

Qiu Qianyu's husband?

This statement instantly shocked everyone present.

Because Qiu Qianyu originally didn't even have a boyfriend, how did she suddenly have a husband?

However, Chang Lan was the first to react.

She coldly scrutinized Jiang Chuan and with a tone not devoid of disgust said, "It must be that loser Qiu Moming who found you, right? Hmph, this loser, being so useless himself, naturally found a useless man for his daughter too!"

Though they are both her sons, Chang Lan's attitude toward her two sons is utterly different, completely opposite.

She absolutely adored her second son, Qiu Deming.

You could say she pampered him, doted on him, and loved him dearly.

As for Qiu Deming's son, her grandson Qiushi, she adored him even more.

But for her eldest son, Qiu Moming, Chang Lan felt nothing but revulsion.

In her view, her second son was clever, charming, and would surely be filial and respectful to her in the future, making him the ideal heir to the family.

On the other hand, her eldest son Qiu Moming was cowardly, obtuse, and tongue-tied, no matter how you looked at him he was irritating.

Thus, she didn't like Qiu Qianyu either.

If it weren't for the fact that Qiushi was studying abroad and the family was lacking talent, she wouldn't have let Qiu Qianyu manage the Qiuyun Cosmetics Company.

Now that Qiushi has returned accomplished, it is time to hand the company back to Qiushi.

Chang Lan believed that under Qiushi's management, the company would surely develop better and become more prosperous.

What Chang Lan didn't know was that her pride, her precious grandson Qiushi, was actually up to no good abroad, running amok.

Relying on some family money, he indulged in revelry every day, leading a debaucherous life.

Not only did he fight over women but also brawled and even organized nude parties.

So, because of his outrageous behavior, Qiushi was directly expelled by the American University.

Qiushi was instantly panicked; although his grandma always pampered him, she paid great attention to his studies.

So, finding no other option, Qiushi bought a fake diploma and claimed that due to his outstanding performance, the school had granted him early graduation.

Seeing her grandson achieve so much, Chang Lan was naturally overjoyed, and delightedly brought Qiushi to Yanbei City to assume his position.

Originally, Chang Lan assumed that upon arriving at Yanbei Qiuyun Company, her formidable presence would intimidate Qiu Qianyu into obediently handing over the company.

But now it seemed, things were not progressing smoothly; this girl actually dared to defy her and even found a man as an ally!

"Good! Good! Good!"

Chang Lan exclaimed "good" three times in succession.

Then, with a stern gaze and a cold sneer, she said, "It seems you all want to rebel, the old avoids meeting, the young are rude and arrogant, and have even found a man as a helper, it looks like you really don't take this old woman seriously! Someone, come here!"
