As more rainwater flowed in, the streams gradually widened and deepened.

Eventually, they converged within a central basin that the Domain of Clouds had naturally formed.

What had once been a broad, level cloud plain was now filled with water, creating a vast Cloudwater Lake.

The lake's surface was smooth as a mirror, reflecting the drifting clouds above and the endless heavens beyond, as though heaven and earth had quietly folded together at this very spot.

Its waters were neither the deep blue nor emerald green of ordinary lakes.

Instead, they possessed a strange translucent milky-white hue, as though light itself and drifting cloud fibers had melted together within them.

Along the shoreline, the undulating cloud banks formed gentle curves, making the lake resemble a perfectly polished piece of jade set within the sea of clouds.

The rain ended.
