Forbidden Women Only Empire Where NO Man Could Set Foot. [Eden’s Vault]

Chapter 50: Dinner and Domestic Chaos

The soft glow of floating crystal lanterns bathed the Gorgon treehouse dining room in warm gold and silver.

The massive table, grown directly from the living wood, felt alive beneath Hyun-woo’s fingertips. He sat on a thick, moss-stuffed cushion that molded perfectly to his body—the kind of comfort that made a man forget he’d just walked out of a half-destroyed military base.

Yep, nothing beats this comfort, Hyun-woo thought, letting out a long breath. Though one thing is clear: I have to be careful around them. Who knows if someone close to me just dies because they called me a something they don’t like? And the next thing I know, they're erased from existence.

He paused, a small smile tugging at his lips. But to be honest, who cares?

And to tell you the truth, For some odd reason, I like these kind of obsessive personalities.

No matter what anyone says, the warm feeling I got when they protected me is something I can't even describe. I know some people don't like getting protected, but fuck them, who cares about their feelings? As long as you protect each other, that’s enough for me.

That’s why, right now…

On his left, Stheno had claimed her spot. The middle Gorgon sister lounged heavily against him, her golden-scaled tail coiled loosely around his leg. Her wild, golden-brown snake-hair spilled across his shoulder, the smaller serpents flicking their tongues lazily as they basked in his touch.

Hyun-woo’s left hand moved slowly, his fingers threading through her hair and stroking the sensitive scales at the base of each little serpent. Every pass earned him a deep, rumbling purr that vibrated through her chest and straight into his side. He loved this feeling.

“Mmm… right there, Hyun-woo,” Stheno murmured, her voice husky and half-dazed. Her red-gold eyes were half-lidded, her temper melted into something dangerously soft. “Yep, right there… ahhh, pamper me. Don’t stop now.”

On his right, Ebonara had melted completely. In her humanoid form, she pressed warmly against him, her heavy breasts squishing softly into his arm.

Her eight gem-like eyes swirled in slow, contented patterns of pink and gold as Hyun-woo’s right hand drew lazy circles across the smooth, pale skin of her toned stomach. Each gentle pass made her tail curl tighter around his ankle, and a low, thunderous purr rolled out of her like a contented earthquake.

“Cutie pie… your hands are dangerous,” she purred, nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck. “I could stay like this forever. Just… keep going. Lower if you want~” She laughed softly at the last sentence.

Hyun-woo’s cheeks burned, but he didn’t stop. The weird sensation of Stheno’s snake-hair under his left fingers and Ebonara’s warm, responsive skin under his right was incredibly addictive. And more than that, when they all purred under his touch, he loved it even more.

His Sex Beast instincts hummed pleasantly in the background, content.

For once, there was no fighting, no world-ending threats, just the simple pleasure of physical touch and the girls’ happy sounds filling the room. He smiled softly, his eyes half-closed.

This… isn’t so bad, he thought.

Across the table, Vespera sat in perfect silence. The ancient dragoness Sovereign had chosen the seat directly opposite him.

Her six golden eyes were locked on the scene with intense focus. Her hands rested primly in her lap, but her long, midnight-black tail lashed once, twice, then stilled with visible effort.

Every time Hyun-woo’s fingers moved—stroking Stheno’s snakes or circling Ebonara’s belly—Vespera’s lips pressed into a thinner line. She wondered how that would feel, how his touch would make her feel. Looking at both of the women's blissed-out faces, she could tell it must have felt heavenly. But…

She had promised. She had sworn she wouldn’t interfere with his "collection." A Sovereign kept her word.

But watching her Consort lavish affection on the others while she sat entirely alone made something twist sharply in her chest. Her massive breasts rose and fell with a slow, controlled breath. A tiny, pitiful huff escaped her.

“…Hmph.”

It was small. Barely audible. But both Stheno's and Ebonara’s ears twitched.

Ebonara cracked one eye open, her purr never faltering. “Something wrong, lizard?”

Vespera lifted her chin, her regal mask firmly in place even as her tail betrayed her with another irritable flick. “Nothing at all. I am merely… observing. A Sovereign does not sulk.”

Stheno let out a lazy laugh, leaning harder into Hyun-woo’s side so his fingers brushed a particularly sensitive spot behind one of her smaller snakes. The resulting purr was almost smug. “Sure looks like sulking to me. Jealous, Your Majesty?”

“I am not jealous,” Vespera snapped, her golden eyes flashing. She caught herself immediately, smoothing her expression back into aristocratic calmness. “I simply… expected more balanced attention from my Consort after the trials we faced together. That is all.”

Hyun-woo’s hands paused for a moment. He glanced at her, feeling a sudden pang of guilt mixed with deep affection.

Vespera’s dramatic flair was entertaining, but underneath it lay genuine, fragile vulnerability. She had spent millennia chained and completely alone. This whole “sharing” thing was probably entirely new, and by the looks of it, clearly harder for her than she let on. He had freed her, claimed responsibility for her in that moment, and now here she was, trying so hard to honor her promise not to interfere.

He felt responsible.

“Vespera,” he said softly, pulling his hands back from the other two. “Come here.”

Stheno’s golden tail tightened around his leg in immediate protest. “Hey, wait a second…”

Ebonara’s eight eyes narrowed, her purr cutting off into a low, reluctant grumble. “Cutie pie… she’s already been all over you earlier. Can’t we just…”

They both stopped short, clearly unhappy but holding back any truly cutting words.

Hyun-woo gave them each a gentle, pleading look. Seeing this, they reluctantly eased off—Stheno with a dramatic huff, Ebonara with a possessive flick of her tail.

Hyun-woo patted his lap. “Vespera. Come sit.”

Vespera’s six golden eyes widened. For a moment, she looked almost startled, then a faint, hopeful flush colored her midnight cheeks. She rose slowly, her regal poise cracking just a little as she eagerly rounded the table.

Stheno muttered under her breath, “Annoying…” but didn’t stop her.

Once Vespera settled carefully onto his lap, her warm weight and the soft silk of her dress pressing against him, Hyun-woo wrapped one arm around her waist to steady her. His free hand came up to gently brush a strand of dark hair from her face.

“How are you feeling?” he asked quietly, his voice sincere. “You’ve been through so much in such a short time. Forgive me if you feel congested right now.”

“Don't, Consort. You don't have to blame yourself,” Vespera quickly tried to deny, but Hyun-woo continued.

“Why don't you take some time to go out and see the world a little? Enjoy yourself. You’re free now. You don’t have to stay glued to me every second.”

He knew if he let her continue like this, she might never grow up herself.

Vespera leaned into his touch, her expression softening as she absorbed his words. Her tail curled hesitantly around his calf, and for once, she didn’t immediately launch into dramatic declarations.

She simply rested her head against his shoulder, her six golden eyes half-lidded in quiet contemplation.

His words didn’t sound so bad when she thought about it.

But before she could formulate her answer, the kitchen doors swung open.

Medusa and Euryale emerged carrying steaming platters of fragrant food: Medusa’s signature spiced sand-drake dishes mixed with Euryale’s experimental, surprisingly successful fusion recipes.

The rich aromas filled the room instantly, cutting through the lingering tension like a warm knife.

The dining table was now laden with steaming choices. The rich, smoky aroma of Medusa’s spiced sand-drake eggs mingled with Euryale’s colorful stir-fried forest vegetables and sweet glazed meats.

It smelled like comfort and home, something Hyun-woo hadn’t realized he’d been missing until now. His stomach gave a loud, involuntary rumble.

I really should meet my parents, he thought. Maybe after resting a little, I should go meet Adrazelle.

“Food’s here,” Medusa announced smoothly, her cool gaze sweeping over the new seating arrangement with a raised eyebrow, but she didn’t say anything.

Euryale smirked as she set down her plates. “Vespera got lucky?”

Vespera didn’t respond right away. She simply stayed nestled in Hyun-woo’s lap, the weight of his words and the comforting warmth of his body giving her something entirely new to consider.

As she shifted slightly, clearly trying to stand so he could eat properly, she murmured, “Consort, allow me to move. You must be hungry after everything…”

Hyun-woo’s arm tightened gently around her waist, holding her firmly in place. Her soft, silk-covered thighs pressed more firmly against him as she settled back down with a surprised little sound.

“No,” he said softly, smiling up at her. “Stay right here. Feed me instead.” His brown eyes sparkled with quiet mischief. “And I’ll feed you in return. Fair trade?”

Vespera’s six golden eyes widened, a deep purple blush blooming across her midnight cheeks. For a moment, the ancient Sovereign looked adorably flustered. “You… want me to feed you?”

Before Stheno or Ebonara could voice their obvious protests, Hyun-woo reached for the nearest platter with his free hand. He picked up a perfectly cut piece of spiced meat with his fingers and lifted it toward Vespera’s lips.

“Open,” he said gently.

Vespera hesitated only a second before obediently parting her lips, accepting the bite with surprising delicacy. Her eyes fluttered half-closed in pleasure as she chewed.

Her Consort was right, this food is delicious, she thought.

Stheno’s golden tail tightened aggressively around his leg. “Hey… that’s not fair…”

Ebonara’s eight gem-eyes narrowed dangerously.

But Hyun-woo didn’t give them time to complain. He quickly picked up two more pieces, one for each of them.

“Here,” he said, turning to his left first. He offered the bite to Stheno with a warm, placating smile.

Stheno glared for half a second, then leaned in and gently took the food from his fingers, her forked tongue brushing lightly against his skin. She chewed with deliberate elegance, though her cheeks were faintly pink. “Tch. Only because it’s Medusa’s cooking…”

On his right, he offered the next piece to Ebonara.

She stared at the food, then at his fingers, then back at the food. With a small, grumpy huff, she leaned forward and bit down—not just on the meat, but deliberately nipping the tips of his fingers as well.

It wasn't hard enough to draw blood, but it definitely carried enough force to sting.

Hyun-woo didn’t flinch or pull away. He simply watched her with knowing, patient eyes. He understood why she was pissed. She had been the first one to claim him. Watching him give special attention to Vespera clearly made her feel left out.

Ebonara chewed aggressively, her tail flicking sharply against his ankle, but she held her tongue.

The quiet tension lingered for a few bites as Hyun-woo continued his careful balancing act, feeding Vespera, then Stheno, then Ebonara, while they in turn offered him food from their own hands.

It was strangely intimate, almost absurdly domestic given the world-threatening entities sitting at the table.

After several minutes of this delicate coordination, Hyun-woo finally glanced toward the other end of the table where Euryale was quietly devouring her portion.

“So, Euryale,” he asked casually between bites, “how’s the game going? Did you beat that boss yet?”

Euryale looked up, her emerald snake-hair perking up with sudden pride. “Hah! I finally cleared Chapter 2. Took me three hours, but I did it.”

Hyun-woo blinked, then let out a teasing grin. “Three hours? Just for Chapter 2? Wow… you’re kind of a lousy gamer, aren’t you?”

The words had barely left his mouth before Euryale’s face turned a vivid shade of green with rage. Every single one of her snakes hissed in violent unison.

“Fuck off!” she snapped, flipping him a very rude middle finger across the table, her other hand gripping her fork like a deadly dagger.

“Euryale,” Medusa said sharply from her seat, her cool voice cutting through the outburst like ice.

“But sister, he started it!” Euryale protested, pointing her fork accusingly at Hyun-woo. “He called me lousy first!”

Medusa’s emerald eyes narrowed. “Fight after lunch. Eat your food before it gets cold.”

Euryale grumbled something foul under her breath but reluctantly lowered her hand, shooting Hyun-woo one last venomous glare that promised brutal payback later. Her snakes continued hissing softly in agreement.

Hyun-woo just chuckled quietly, carefully offering another bite to Vespera, who was now smiling softly in his lap, while Stheno and Ebonara continued their gentle (and not-so-gentle) nips at his fingers.

The storm of emotions was still there, simmering just under the surface.

But for now, surrounded by five impossibly powerful, beautiful, and chaotic women fighting over his attention in the most ridiculous ways possible… Hyun-woo couldn’t help but feel strangely content.

He had a feeling dinner was only the beginning of tonight’s chaos.
