Chapter 26: The Fall of Voss Karak
The next day, at noon, the central square of Dunewatch was packed even more densely than during the duel. Word had spread like wildfire through the town and the surrounding desert camps. Thousands had gathered, merchants, adventurers, caravan workers, locals, and curious travellers, all eager to witness the final fall of the man who had ruled them through fear for years.
Voss Karak was dragged into the square in heavy iron chains, a broken shadow of the arrogant merchant lord he once was. His fine robes were torn and filthy, his face swollen and bruised from yesterday’s brutal beating. Greasy black hair clung to his sweating scalp, and his cold eyes burned with pure, impotent hatred as he was forced to his knees in the centre of the square.
Kaelara stood tall before him like a golden goddess of conquest. Her powerful body was on full display in her signature revealing outfit, the red-gold bandeau top straining against her massive breasts and her low-slung orange pants hugging her wide hips. Her turquoise eyes glowed with dark satisfaction as she looked down at her defeated enemy.
The crowd fell into a tense, anticipatory silence.
Kaelara’s voice rang out, magically amplified so every person in the square could hear her clearly.
“Voss Karak,” she declared, her tone cold and commanding. “You ruled this town through fear, extortion, and corruption. You terrorized merchants, assaulted women, and bled the people dry for your own greed. Today, that ends.”
She stepped forward and placed her heavy boot on the back of his head, pressing his face roughly into the dirt in front of the entire town.
The crowd gasped loudly.
“Beg,” she commanded, voice icy. “Beg for mercy in front of the people you once oppressed. Beg like the pathetic worm you are.”
Voss trembled with rage and humiliation. For a long, stubborn moment he resisted, his body shaking with fury. But when Kaelara pressed down harder with her boot, grinding his face into the dust, his pride finally shattered.
“Please…” he croaked, voice muffled and broken against the ground. “Have mercy… I surrender Dunewatch to you… I yield everything…”
Kaelara lifted her foot and allowed him to rise to his knees. Tears of humiliation streamed down his swollen face as she forced him to publicly renounce his power. In a trembling, broken voice, Voss declared all his ill-gotten wealth forfeit, dissolved his criminal network, and swore eternal loyalty to the Golden Demoness in front of thousands of witnesses.
The townspeople watched in stunned silence as the man who had terrorized them for years groveled at the feet of the Golden Demoness.
But Kaelara was not finished.
She turned toward the gathered crowd and gestured with a single commanding motion. Several of Voss Karak’s former slave girls were brought forward, the very women he had captured, tortured, and broken over the years. There was more than a dozen of them, ranging in age and background, but all shared the same burning hatred in their eyes. Some still bore visible scars from his cruelty. Others trembled with long-suppressed rage that had finally found its release.
“These women,” Kaelara announced loudly, her voice magically amplified so every soul in the square could hear her clearly, “will decide your punishment, Voss. You spent years abusing them. Tormenting them. Treating them like objects for your pleasure. Now they will return the favor.”
A heavy, electric silence fell over the crowd.
The former slaves descended on Voss with years of pent-up fury. The first blow came from a tall, dark-haired woman whose eyes blazed with vengeance, she slapped him hard across the face, then spat directly into it. Another woman, smaller but fierce, kicked him viciously in the ribs. A third grabbed a whip that had once been used on her and cracked it across his back with savage satisfaction.
Voss screamed and begged as they swarmed him. They beat him, whipped him, and humiliated him publicly while the entire town watched. Some spat on his face and body; others stomped on his hands and kicked him while he curled pathetically on the ground. A few used the very tools of torment he had once used on them, small knives to cut shallow, stinging lines across his skin, and heavy chains to drag him through the dirt like an animal.
“Please—! Mercy—! I beg you—!” Voss cried out, his voice broken and pathetic, all traces of his former arrogance gone. Tears mixed with blood and spit on his swollen face as he crawled desperately, only to be kicked back down again.
Kaelara watched the entire spectacle with a cold, satisfied smile. She stood tall and regal in the center of the square, Lioran on her right and Aelthar on her left. Both elves remained silent, though Lioran’s expression showed quiet approval while Aelthar watched with cold, aristocratic satisfaction.
When the punishment was finally over and Voss Karak lay broken, sobbing, and barely conscious in the dirt, Kaelara stepped forward once more.
“Voss Karak’s reign of terror is over,” she declared, her voice echoing powerfully across the square. “Dunewatch now belongs to the Golden Demoness. Those who serve me faithfully will be protected and rewarded. Those who resist… will share his fate.”
A thunderous cheer erupted from the crowd. The sound was deafening — relief, joy, and newfound hope mixing together as the people celebrated the end of their tyrant’s rule.
Kaelara turned and walked away with Lioran and Aelthar at her sides, leaving the fallen merchant lord lying in the dust behind her like the worthless trash he was.
The conquest of Dunewatch was complete.

After the public humiliation, Voss Karak’s broken body was dragged to the center of the town square. Kaelara ordered him stripped of his fine robes and tied to a tall wooden pole like a common criminal. Heavy iron chains bound his wrists and ankles, leaving him exposed to the harsh desert sun and the scornful eyes of the townspeople. The once-mighty merchant lord hung there pathetically, bruised, bloodied, and sobbing as the crowd jeered and spat at him.
He was left there to die slowly, his body to decompose in the open as a warning to anyone who would dare oppose the Golden Demoness.
Kaelara, however, was not content with mere punishment. She made a calculated move to cement her rule.
That same afternoon, she ordered the immediate redistribution of a large portion of Voss Karak’s seized wealth. Wagons loaded with food, fresh water barrels, and sacks of gold were rolled out into the poorer districts and among the struggling merchants who had suffered the most under the old regime.
The effect was immediate and powerful.
Long lines formed as people received sacks of grain, jars of clean water, and handfuls of gold coins. Mothers wept with relief as they clutched food for their hungry children. Small merchants who had been crushed by Voss’s extortion wept openly as their debts were forgiven and they were given fresh starting capital.
Word spread like wildfire through the streets.
“The Golden Demoness is feeding the poor!” “She took from the tyrant and gave it back to us!” “She is not like Voss… she actually cares!”
The people of Dunewatch, who had long lived under the principle of “follow the strongest,” began shifting their loyalty en masse. Many who had been neutral or quietly fearful now openly cheered for her. Former skeptics joined the growing crowds that followed her procession through the town.
Chants of “Golden Demoness!” began to echo through the streets, growing louder and more confident with every passing hour.
Kaelara walked through the bustling market with Lioran and Aelthar at her sides, her powerful presence commanding reverence. She smiled as she watched families cheer and bow as she passed, her turquoise eyes gleaming with dark satisfaction.
Lioran looked up at her, ears slightly pink. “You’re really winning them over… not just with fear, but with generosity.”
Aelthar, walking gracefully on her other side, added quietly, “A wise strategy, Mistress. Bread and circuses have toppled empires before. You are giving them both.”
Kaelara chuckled softly, draping her arms around both of her elves’ shoulders and pulling them closer.
“Fear makes them obey,” she purred, voice low and rich with ambition. “But loyalty… that is what builds empires. Let them cheer my name. Soon they will fight for it.”
As the sun began to set, painting the desert town in warm orange light, the chants of “Golden Demoness!” grew even louder, echoing off the adobe walls and rising into the sky.
Dunewatch was no longer Voss Karak’s town.
It was hers.

That night, back at her luxurious headquarters on the top floor of The Rusty Cactus, Kaelara celebrated her complete takeover of Dunewatch in the most intimate way possible.
The large room was bathed in the soft glow of lanterns and scented candles. Kaelara lounged regally on a wide, cushioned chaise like a conquering empress. She wore nothing but a loose crimson robe that hung open, revealing the powerful curves of her sun-kissed body, her heavy breasts, toned abs, and the thick, semi-hard length of her futa cock resting against her thigh.
Both of her elves were dressed in revealing silks she had personally chosen for them. Lioran wore sheer emerald green fabric that clung to his lithe frame, the material so thin it left almost nothing to the imagination, especially around the prominent outline of his cock and the curve of his plump ass. Aelthar’s attire was even more decadent, flowing crimson and black silk that draped elegantly yet provocatively off one shoulder, exposing most of his smooth pale chest and the graceful lines of his narrow waist and hips.
Kaelara idly stroked their hair and bodies as they rested against her. One hand gently ran through Lioran’s messy golden locks while the other caressed Aelthar’s long silver hair, occasionally sliding lower to squeeze a thigh or tease a sensitive nipple.
“You’ve done well,” Aelthar admitted quietly, his voice still carrying a trace of reluctant awe. His crimson eyes were soft as he looked up at her. “Even I must acknowledge your strength, Mistress. The way you crushed Voss… the town is already singing your name.”
Lioran nuzzled deeper against her neck, pressing soft kisses to her warm skin. “The town is really yours now…” he murmured, his breath warm and content. “They’re scared of you… but they’re starting to believe in you too.”
Kaelara smiled, a slow, satisfied curve of her lips as she pulled both of them even closer. She tilted Lioran’s chin up first and kissed him deeply, claiming his mouth with slow, possessive hunger. Then she turned to Aelthar and did the same, devouring the fallen prince’s lips with equal dominance until both elves were flushed and breathing heavier.
“Yes,” she whispered against Aelthar’s swollen lips, her voice rich with dark satisfaction. “Dunewatch is mine. And soon… this entire region will follow.”
She looked out the wide window at the town lights flickering below, her turquoise eyes glowing with boundless ambition and hunger.
The Golden Demoness had claimed her first true territory.
