"It seems like the child has stopped moving. Meiyue, get off the bed and start moving; it is important for the foetus’ head to come down. Go around the clinic and do some squats. We need to make this baby move as soon as possible."

She raised her head and looked past the curtains and the window that had been left open for clean air. Bai Meiyue noticed that there was something amiss. She turned her head and looked at the nurses and Shen Zhen. She asked, "What happened?"
"No matter what is happening, you need to remember that there is nothing more important than the child in your belly. You need to give birth to this child first with peace of mind. As for everything else, you don’t need to worry about it."
Shen Zhen stood in front of Bai Meiyue because she knew what the woman was thinking. She looked at Bai Meiyue and warned her with a severe tone that she had never used before. Bai Meiyue took a deep breath. She had a feeling that there was something amiss. But she also knew that what Shen Zhen said to her was indeed correct. No matter what happened, it had nothing to do with her. Her first priority now was to have a baby.

What Ning Muyun said was indeed true; even though they had made such a fuss, that woman never came out of the safe base; usually, she would never do such a thing.
