Yandere Instruction Manual: My Wife is World Ending Calamity!

Chapter 115: Male Hormones vs. Succubus Queen’s Charm.

Succubus were considered one of the oldest demon races.

Even among other demon races, they were ranked near the top, and Eliana was the daughter the late Succubus Queen had with the Demon King who ruled all demon races.

But after a political strife, she was sent to a self-proclaimed righteous faction to act as a spy.

The Stryx family name she used wasn’t even her real family. They were another bunch of demon spies, those from the succubus race, who used their economic presence to send all kinds of information back to the Demon Realm.

Hell, at the beginning, they weren’t even nobles, but through some shady means, they earned enough to buy even that rank. And now, they stood as a Ducal family of the Nomando Kingdom, holding the reins to half of the economic power of the Righteous Factions.

A few years from now, the hypocrites of righteousness found out the truth about Stryx and started their war, which was only for the sake of coveting the influence the Stryx held.

And those bastards of the Awakened Association commissioned a child from a major noble family in the name of God, and my cold and heartless family sacrificed me.

But right as I was on the verge of dying during that time, Eliana found me beside a river.

She was on the verge of dying herself after getting stabbed, so she decided to use the forbidden art of the Succubus race on me, who was the perfect scapegoat to recover herself.

And somehow, that bound our lives together.

She was quite feisty at the beginning, trying to find unique ways to kill me without trying to kill herself, but those cute interactions slowly brought us close...

She dragged my injured body all around the Demon Realm as a prisoner and I was too damn injured and weak to even resist.

And we fell in love.

It sounded like something straight out of some romance story you would find on a shitty and shady pirate site and curse yourself for wasting time reading.

But well, that was my life story.

As for why I was thinking about the past history even as I stood in front of her, it was because my chaotic mind truly didn’t know what else to think.

"So you came to negotiate, huh? How interesting."

She said, shaking the dust off her hands as she gestured toward the two seniors blocking my path.

They immediately backed away as she gestured for me to follow her.

"I must say, you have got quite a lot of nerve coming to meet me of all people, especially after knowing the kind of trouble you have caused recently."

"The people in the faction were especially not happy with the way you defeated Ruvian. And although I wasn’t there that day, I heard you used quite a backhanded method."

I let out a smile.

"Well, if I am up against a senior who was so eager to battle me, I would have to use any method I could, right?"

She chuckled.

"But that doesn’t explain why you would cause trouble for Professor Maximus, the founder of the very faction you came to negotiate with, as well. He seemed to be pissed off at you too."

"I don’t know anything about that, senior. I cannot help what someone might get angry about, after all."

I replied immediately as we arrived in the resting area of the training facility. Many benches lay there, arranged neatly, with quite a few tired students chatting with each other while catching their breath.

But with one gesture from Eliana, everyone emptied the resting area and even those who didn’t understand what was happening were dragged out by the seniors.

She didn’t wait a minute before taking a seat on a chair beside a circular table and pointing me toward the seat opposite her.

"I don’t really care about what kind of intentions or thoughts you might have had in your mind. All I want from you is for you to answer two of my questions, and then I will decide if it’s worth having a chat with you."

She said that as I took a seat.

"The first question is simple. Why did you come to me when you could have gone to the ’leader’ of our faction?"

She deliberately leaned forward while resting her chin on her hand as she adjusted her deep crimson hair.

The sweet scent of her body drifted through the air, making me stiffen up for a moment.

Fuck, she is using that trick already.

Normally, I didn’t get bothered by such things.

But she was a damn Succubus and one carrying the bloodline of the legendary Succubus Queen at that.

Each and every movement of hers released enough charm to make even a cold-hearted immortal fall and I was a mere Regressor.

I swear, if Lily were here watching this, she would definitely throw me in the basement again, even if she didn’t have her memories back yet.

Still, my Chaotic mind helped me keep myself steady as I responded.

"The thing I have could be used better by you than the ’leader’ of the faction."

I said, forcing a stiff smile onto my face.

The Royalist Faction’s official leader was some prince from the Sylvara Continent, but Eliana was the one who controlled everything from behind the scenes.

So, in a way, she was the true leader of the Royalist Faction.

"That makes me quite curious, but before jumping into that conversation, answer my last question."

She said, her voice turning quietly seductive as the sweet scent intensified even more. It was so intense that it made me remember the memories of my past life, when we had our first... interaction together.

I quietly pinched my own thigh to snap myself out of her spell.

This was the reason I didn’t want to ever meet her so soon. My mind and soul were strong enough to resist any spells that influenced them, but Eliana didn’t attack either of those. She attacked the natural body of a person and what existed within it.

And it was especially worse for my current body, brimming with those hormones. Not to mention all those Talents she had stacked together, which made her an even greater menace.

"W-what is your second question, senior?"

I asked as a look of amusement appeared on her face, as if she hadn’t expected me to ask it. Honestly, most low-rank people with weak bodies would have given up by this point.

"The second question is, do you not find me attractive or what?"

With those words, the sweet scent receded, and everything returned to normal as if it had never existed at all.

I let out a quiet sigh of relief.

"You are quite attractive, Senior."

I said calmly as she narrowed her eyes.

"Then why can’t I see it in your eyes? Most men who see me either have that slimy smile on their faces or have their gazes fixed on my chest. But you did neither. You were looking into my eyes the entire time."

"Maybe it’s because your eyes are more interesting to look at or maybe it’s because I am here to negotiate."

...or maybe it’s because I am too scared that Lily will throw me in the basement.

I didn’t say that last part.

"You are quite boring." She said before immediately changing the topic, as if she hadn’t asked the most awkward question just a moment ago. "So, what is it you wanted to negotiate?"

She leaned back in her seat again, her eyes losing all their amusement.

My usual smile appeared back on my face as I pulled out a recording crystal from my storage ring. It was the same one Asher had used to record those giants attacking me after the sacred duel.

I played with the cubical crystal in my hand as I looked into her golden eyes.

"How would you like to be the next Student Council President, Senior?" I said. "Because this crystal in my hand might help you do that quite easily."

That pulled her attention back.

"Quite the claim you are making there. Are you not afraid of angering the Prince of Giants with your little stunt here? He has eyes and ears everywhere, after all."

She said it as a smile appeared on her face as well.

Eliana’s goal had always been to become the Student Council President, but despite her charming abilities, she was never able to achieve that.

At her current rank, those abilities only worked on a few people at a time and even then, the person needed to have at least some affection toward her for them to work more strongly.

Those with strong bodies could resist her charm and keep their sanity.

So, even in my last life, she was never able to achieve it with Silas holding the reins.

"I don’t make claims about what I can’t achieve and as for making an enemy out of the Student Council President, I think it’s too late to worry about that now."

"So... are you interested in negotiating now?"

Author’s Note:

So, it’s finalised, by the way.

The book’s title will soon be changed to "THE REGRESSED DEMON KING CAN COPY AND EVOLVE TALENTS."

A bit generic, I know but these kinds of titles tend to work, so we will see how it goes. The change should be live within the next few days, or a week or two at most.
