Yandere Instruction Manual: My Wife is World Ending Calamity!

Chapter 77: Gaslighting My Sister (For Her Own Good).

"Tsk!"

I clicked my tongue in annoyance.

These fuckers and their childish games.

I was really annoyed by everything that had happened today.

Not only I had acted far too much on impulse but I also fought that bastard Ruvian when it would have been better to slice him up somewhere private and if that wasn’t all, I also showed my bloodlust twice in a single day.

It was only a trick but even a trick only works once and you can’t fool a sharp bastard like Silas twice with the same move.

I also knew that despite my going out of the way to warn Silas, he was definitely going to try screwing with me again. For all the intelligence and equality he preached, he was too arrogant. Hell, he even killed his own father because he didn’t agree with his vision.

But then again, screw them all.

I wanted to live this life in peace with freedom to act on my own whims and impulses. And for that, I did need to take care of a few thorns standing in the way of my peaceful life sooner or later. So, it was better to deal with them now than later, when they would become an even bigger annoyance.

Still, I couldn’t help but think that the whole day had been a complete waste of time.

With a sigh, I finally arrived at the table where Amyra was sitting. Aurelion was seated beside her, chatting away.

"Don’t worry, big sis. I will take care of Zenith, I promise."

He puffed out his chest like a soldier marching off to war.

I didn’t even know when she had become his big sis or why he was promising to take care of me as if I were some kind of troublemaker, which I sure as hell wasn’t, but he clearly didn’t seem all that offended by how I had treated his older brother.

As soon as I got close, Amyra immediately snapped her eyes toward me and unlike the gentle smile she always wore around others, her face was filled with dangerous amounts of anger.

Her hand slowly tightened around the knife lying with the cutlery.

"I didn’t get hurt." I said before she could say anything. "Also, please don’t try to stab me here, we are in a banquet hall."

She did have that habit of grabbing a knife and chasing after me whenever I did something wrong, so I had to be careful.

"I am not a fool, you bastard."

She said, puffing out her cheek and releasing her grip over the knife slowly.

"Why the hell would you even fight Prince Ruvian? He simply came to greet me and you treated him like he was some kind of enemy." She continued, narrowing her eyes at me. "And since when did you get so strong?"

Meanwhile, Aurelion merely scratched his cheek awkwardly, probably seeing a completely different side of Amyra than the one he previously saw.

Amyra let out a small sigh before glancing toward him.

"Aurelion, would you excuse us for a moment? There are a few things I need to discuss with this idiot."

"Ah... of course."

He immediately rose to his feet.

"I will talk to you later, Zenith." He quietly slipped away from the table before giving me a nod. "It was nice meeting you too, Big Sis."

That bastard really is a golden retriever in human form.

I nodded back at him with a smile before walking over to the empty chair and taking a seat.

Amyra was still looking at me for an explanation as I finally spoke.

"It’s all the power of love, Sis."

"Love?!" Amyra naturally looked surprised. "What bullshit are you spouting now?"

"Yes, Sis. Love. I actually fell in love with a particular girl. No, I fell head over heels for her and I can’t even imagine a future without her in my life."

I said in an overly dramatic tone.

"But Prince Ruvian dared to harass her today and although she escaped his grasp, he tried to use his noble status against her simply because she is a commoner."

Amyra’s eyes widened at my ridiculous explanation.

It wasn’t enough to warn that guy alone, I also had to make sure Amyra wouldn’t try talking to him with her overly nice and friendly personality because that bastard was simply too relentless.

"Wait wait, what are you talking about? Love? Commoner? And also Prince Ruvian couldn’t do something like that. Although I haven’t met him much outside the noble gatherings we used to attend as heirs, and we have barely spoken at the academy either, he has always been nice to me."

I lowered my head slightly.

"That’s all a facade, Sis. Or maybe I don’t know. But what I saw was undeniable. He was trying to harass the woman I love, so tell me... how could I possibly forgive him?"

I continued in the same bitter tone.

"When I saw him standing next to you with that repulsive smile, reaching out as if he was about to touch your shoulder... I just couldn’t hold it back."

"But..."

She tried to say something but I cut her off.

"I am not saying you shouldn’t talk to him ever again... it’s just that I want you to be careful around him. After all, in this world, you are the only family I have left and I don’t want to lose you. So... promise me you will be careful."

I felt guilty for using her emotions like this.

I felt guilty for manipulating her and trying to decide who she should or shouldn’t interact with.

But I honestly didn’t want her to suffer the way she had in my last life.

Maybe I was being a scumbag...

...but I didn’t want her to walk down that path again.

More importantly, I didn’t want to kill my sister ever again.

"Alright... I will be careful."

She said, her voice barely above a whisper as an awkward silence settled between us but before it could linger for long, she broke it herself, diverting the conversation away from the heavy subject.

"So... back to the main topic. Who is this girl you have fallen in love with?" She asked with a mischievous smile. "As your elder sister, I need to see just who is so charming that even my rebellious little brother has fallen so deeply for, don’t I?"

I quietly scanned the banquet hall until my gaze fell on Lily. She was standing some distance away, busy sipping red wine.

Her blonde hair cascaded gracefully down her back as her crimson eyes wandered across the banquet hall with utter disinterest.

She wore a beautiful red dress patterned like a starry sky. It wasn’t nearly as flashy as what many of the noble ladies wore but with her beauty, even they seemed lacklustre beside her.

I subtly pointed in her direction.

"She is the one, Sis."

"She is the one I love and her name is Lily."

Meanwhile, standing some distance away and quietly enjoying a glass of surprisingly sweet red wine, Lily almost spat it out.

...What are you talking about, Rwar?

A deep feminine voice echoed from her shadow almost immediately.

[It’s true, Lily. He said... he loves you!]
