Aoki was stunned, his eyes widening slightly, the subtle tremor in his gaze betraying his effort to make sure he had truly heard what had just been said.
His breath caught in his throat, and the fingers gripping his chopsticks tensed unconsciously. The same thing happened with Kurisu and Akarin, who immediately stopped their meal.
The faint clink of the spoon still resting against the rim of a bowl froze in mid-air, and the two women exchanged glances, their faces filled with silent questions, eyebrows raised in wonder at the sudden shift of conversation into such a serious tone.
“Of course. Even if you want to teach Medical Ninjutsu to every member of the Kisatsutai and the Oni, I have no objections,” Aoki finally replied, his lips curling into a faint smile.
That smile was calm, yet Aoki’s eyes still held the lingering trace of astonishment, like someone who had just been struck by an unexpectedly grand ambition.

Her grin stretched wide, her eyes narrowing into crescent shapes because they could no longer hold back the overflowing delight.
Her voice brimmed with vigor, kindling motivation in anyone who heard it. It was unmistakable—Rin could not conceal the exhilaration burning within her, as though in that very moment, the entire world around her contained nothing but conviction and determination to make her dream a reality.

The vast hall of the headquarters was bathed in the wavering glow of torches, their flames casting long, dancing shadows across the rough-hewn stone walls.
The air was hushed, broken only by the occasional rustle of papers as Aoki turned through reports, or the scratch of a pen gliding over scrolls filled with symbols and strategic markings.
Beyond monitoring every piece of information tied to the Third Great Ninja War, Aoki busied himself with preparing an array of plans, readying himself to face any possible outcome in the world of Naruto—or more precisely, the world of shinobi.
His sharp gaze traced again and again across the great map spread out over the heavy wooden table before him, every line and red mark representing key points of battlefields, each one a place that could, at any moment, transform into a sea of blood.
Though Aoki had already founded two organizations—the Kisatsutai and the Oni—he still felt it wasn’t enough. There was an emptiness that lingered, a gnawing sense that the strength he currently possessed was still insufficient to withstand the approaching storm that drew ever nearer.
