Arrival in an isekai

Chapter 135: Charlotte’s wardrobe +16

Your hands shift smoothly, each palm now cupping the opposite breast. Arche's breathing deepens as your thumb traces circles through the fabric covering her nipple. Lisara shifts her weight, settling into your chest.

Inside the room, Charlotte emerges wearing what Kuuderika proudly announces as a "sailor uniform." The outfit consists of a white top with an impossibly short blue pleated skirt that barely covers anything. The top itself is cropped, exposing her midriff, and the collar sits wide enough to reveal significant shoulder and collarbone.

"This is meant for maritime service?" Charlotte asks, tugging at the skirt's hem. "I would drown within minutes. The fabric provides no protection from water whatsoever."

"It's a school uniform!" Nemu corrects brightly. "From a special academy that trains students in special techniques!"

"What kind of techniques require exposing this much skin?" Charlotte mutters, but she's already turning toward the mirror, examining herself from different angles with clinical assessment.

"My turn for a question," she continues, still adjusting the skirt. "Earlier, the girls mentioned someone named Kallen wearing a bunny outfit every day. Who is she? What's her position here?"

Ureirika bounces excitedly on the bed. "Sister Kallen is really pretty! She has red hair and she's really strong and she trains a lot!"

"She used to be grumpy sometimes," Kuuderika adds thoughtfully. "But Master helped her feel better, and now she's happy most of the time."

"And this Kallen person wears revealing serving uniforms daily by choice?" Charlotte's tone carries genuine curiosity beneath the skepticism.

"Oh yes!" Nemu nods enthusiastically. "The big sisters wear special outfits when they work around the house. Sister Milly and Sister Euphemia and Sister Villetta wear matching maid outfits too!"

Charlotte goes very still. "How many women live here?"

"Um..." Nemu starts counting on her fingers. "There's Master, and Arche and Lisara and Enri and Neia and Alicia and Prim and Euphemia and Kallen and Milly and Shirley and Villetta and Lacus and now you!"

"That's thirteen people from Carne Manor," Kuuderika supplies helpfully. "But there's also all the people in the dungeon and the demiplanes and..."

"The dungeon," Charlotte repeats slowly. "There is a dungeon attached to this house."

"The mansion connects to Master's dungeon!" Ureirika explains. "It has lots of floors and lots of people live there too!"

Beside you, Arche's hand comes up to squeeze your wrist gently. Lisara makes a soft sound as your fingers knead her breast more firmly through her clothing.

Charlotte stands motionless before the mirror, processing this cascade of information while wearing a sailor uniform that barely qualifies as clothing.

You lean close to Arche and Lisara, your voice dropping to a whisper while your hands continue their gentle exploration. "Should we interrupt this and send the three to gather everyone for dinner? Or let Charlotte finish her orientation while we greet the others as they return?"

Arche considers for a moment, watching Charlotte emerge in yet another outfit through the doorway crack. "The girls are enjoying themselves," she murmurs. "And Charlotte seems to be handling it better than expected. Let them continue."

"Agreed," Lisara adds softly. "Besides, I think we could use a few minutes to compose ourselves before dinner."

You nod, stepping back from the doorway and releasing both women from your embrace. "Go ahead and join them if you like. I'll greet whoever's returned to the main hall."

Arche straightens her clothing, running fingers through her hair. "Actually, I should check on dinner preparations. Make sure everything's ready for when Charlotte joins us properly."

"I'll help," Lisara offers, adjusting her own dress.

The three of you move quietly down the hallway toward the main hall. Inside Charlotte's room, the fashion show continues uninterrupted, Nemu's excited voice carrying through the door: "Ooh, try the cat-ear one next!"

As you enter the main hall, you find Euphemia still reading by the hearth, exactly where you left her. She glances up at your approach, violet eyes calm.

"How's the orientation proceeding?" she asks.

"Charlotte's being introduced to her wardrobe by enthusiastic guides," you reply. "Everyone should be returning for dinner soon."

Arche and Lisara continue past you toward the kitchen area, leaving you alone with Euphemia. The princess sets her spell theory text aside, rising gracefully from her chair.

"I should probably assist Lisara," she says. "Unless you'd prefer I remain?"

Before you can answer, the front door opens. Villetta enters first, followed by Milly and Lacus returning from their afternoon activities at the school. All three women pause upon seeing you standing in the hall.

"Welcome back," you greet them warmly, moving forward to kiss each woman in turn. Villetta accepts your lips with ease, Milly with her characteristic analytical composure, and Lacus with gentle responsiveness.

"How was school today?" you ask as you step back.

"Productive," Milly answers. "Though several students seemed distracted during afternoon lessons. I believe they're still processing yesterday's demonstrations."

Lacus nods agreement. "The younger children asked many questions about magic during study period. It was convenient to be able to look up such a variety of questions."

"Dinner will be ready shortly," you inform them. "We have a new household member arriving at the table tonight. Charlotte Dunois."

All three women exchange glances, processing this information with varying degrees of curiosity.

"Will she be joining us for dinner?" Lacus asks softly. "The younger girls have been quite excited about showing her around."

"She's currently experiencing her wardrobe orientation," you reply, running a hand along Lacus's shoulder. "Nemu, Kuuderika, and Ureirika are providing thorough demonstrations."

Villetta's expression shifts to mild amusement. "Ah. The fashion show approach. That should prove enlightening for her."

The front door opens again, and Enri enters first, her green eyes brightening when she spots you. Neia follows close behind, still wearing her practice armor from training. Both women cross the hall toward you.

"Master," Enri greets, accepting your kiss with familiar ease. Her hand finds yours briefly. "The village coordination meeting ran longer than expected. Elder Garvit wanted to discuss expansion plans for the eastern farmland."

Neia waits her turn, straightening slightly when you approach. She receives your kiss with earnest attention, her composure steady despite the faint flush coloring her cheeks.

"Training went well today," Neia reports. "Fenrak introduced advanced formation tactics. The concepts translate surprisingly well from Sacred Kingdom military doctrine."

The door opens once more, admitting Alicia and Prim together, both women still dressed in their revealing usual attire from school. Alicia's blonde hair catches the lamplight as she moves toward you, Prim's pink locks bouncing beside her.

"We're not late, are we?" Alicia asks, accepting your greeting kiss with athletic enthusiasm. Prim receives hers more quietly, though her hand squeezes yours gently.

"Dinner preparations are nearly complete," you assure them. "We're just waiting for Kallen and Shirley to return from her park visit."

"And Charlotte," Milly adds from her seat. "I'm quite curious to meet her."

Footsteps sound from the hallway leading deeper into the manor, and Arche emerges from the kitchen area balancing a tray of food to add to the table.

The front door swings open and Kallen steps through, her red hair slightly windswept from a quick return home. She's wearing her now characteristic bunny outfit with its high-cut leotard, white collar and cuffs, and fishnet stockings climbing her legs.

You move forward to meet her, pulling her into a kiss that she returns with eager warmth. Her hands find your shoulders as your lips work against hers. When you break the kiss, you slide your hands down to grip her thighs just above where the fishnets meet bare skin.

"Master, I can walk to the table myself," Kallen protests, but there's no real resistance in her voice as you lift her easily. Her thighs are warm beneath your palms, the contrast between smooth skin and textured stockings pleasant against your fingers.

You carry her across the main hall toward the dining area where others are beginning to gather. Kallen's face flushes pink as you walk past Villetta, Milly, and the others, but she doesn't squirm or ask to be set down. Instead she loops one arm around your neck for balance, accepting the attention with only mild embarrassment.

"Welcome back," Euphemia offers from her chair, closing her spell theory text. "Did you enjoy today's training?"

"It was nice," Kallen answers as you settle into a chair with her positioned on your lap. She shifts slightly, adjusting her weight, then relaxes back against your chest. "Alicia showed me around all the weapon training golems. They're simple, but effective to get you moving in the right ways." taking note of the residents, she adds. "Shirley isn't here? I bet Lucy wanted to stay longer to finish the tour properly."

"So she'll miss dinner?" Enri asks, moving toward the dining area behind you.

"Probably," Kallen confirms. "Lucy, from what I could tell lacks interaction experience, she childishly gets really enthusiastic when she's explaining things to people. They'll probably be there another hour at least."

Your hands rest naturally on Kallen's thighs, thumbs rubbing gently over the tight fishnet material. She tolerates the touch with composure despite the faint pink still coloring her cheeks.

Arche emerges from the kitchen area carrying a pitcher. "The table's ready whenever everyone sits down," she announces. "Charlotte should probably join us soon, though I imagine her wardrobe orientation has been thorough."

"Very thorough," Lisara adds, following behind with plates. "Those three were still going strong when we left them."

Milly rises from her seat, her blue eyes moving between you and Kallen with analytical assessment. "Should someone fetch Charlotte and the younger girls? Or let them finish naturally?"

Neia stands as well, her practical bearing shifting toward readiness. "I can go get them if you'd like, Master."

You smirk at Neia's offer, running your fingers along Kallen's fishnet-covered thigh. "That's an interesting proposal, Neia. But I have a condition. Go to Charlotte's room and offer the three girls one last fashion change in exchange for coming to dinner. You'll wear one of Charlotte's outfits yourself and end the fashion show for the night."

Neia's eyes widen slightly, a flush spreading across her cheeks. "I... yes. Right away."

She turns and hurries toward the hallway, her armor making soft clinking sounds as she walks.

The moment she disappears from sight, Arche covers her mouth to suppress a laugh. "Oh no. She has no idea what she just volunteered for."

"None whatsoever," Lisara agrees, giggling. Noticing that the other girls are watching quizzically she explains. "Charlotte's wardrobe is exclusively revealing costumes. Fantasy armor that covers nothing important, transparent negligees, maid uniforms cut impossibly short..."

"Battle bikinis," Arche adds with amusement. "Sailor uniforms that barely qualify as clothing. Bunny outfits like Kallen's."

You lean down to kiss Kallen gently, your lips moving against hers while your hand remains on her thigh. She responds warmly, her fingers curling against your chest.

"The three girls will probably pick something that looks innocent to them," Lisara continues. "But which will leave both Neia and Charlotte absolutely mortified when they realize what they're wearing to dinner. At least we expect it."

You break the kiss with Kallen, turning your attention back to the conversation. "Speaking of bunny outfits," you say, running your thumb along the edge of Kallen's fishnet stockings. "Your assessment of Lucy was remarkably accurate."

Kallen's flush deepens slightly at the attention. "She seemed enthusiastic when she talked about the park. I could tell she doesn't get much social interaction."

"Would you be willing to accompany Lucy to visit Amagi Brilliant Park tomorrow?" you ask, kissing her again briefly. "I've been giving her some experience with household members one at a time."

Kallen shifts on your lap, considering. "In this outfit? It'll attract quite a bit of attention.

"The security there has been expanded," you assure her. "They should be able to prevent any problems. And besides, I think Lucy would appreciate your confidence specifically."

"Alright," Kallen agrees. "I'll take her tomorrow."

Milly observes from her seat with analytical interest. "So we're introducing Charlotte to household dynamics gradually through the children's perspective while simultaneously you've been expanding Lucy's social experience through safe outings. Efficient."

Lacus smiles gently. "Lucy seemed very excited about showing Shirley around today. I think having Kallen accompany her tomorrow will help her develop her own confidence."

Footsteps sound from the hallway, multiple sets approaching together. Your dinner is about to become more interesting.

The sound of multiple footsteps announces their arrival before they appear. Nemu bursts into the main hall first, practically bouncing with excitement. "Master! Master! Look what we picked!"

Kuuderika and Ureirika follow close behind, both wearing matching grins as they flank two significantly taller figures. Charlotte and Neia enter side by side, and the contrast is immediately striking.

Both women wear matching fantasy mage costumes. The outfits consist of pointed witch hats with trailing ribbons, fitted bodices that lace up the front with generous keyhole cutouts at the chest and sides, extremely short pleated skirts that barely cover anything, white thigh-high stockings with garter straps, and long fingerless gloves extending past their elbows. The color scheme differs only in accent: Charlotte's outfit features blue trim while Neia's has red.

Charlotte's blonde hair falls in waves around her shoulders, her blue eyes carefully avoiding direct eye contact with anyone as pink colors her cheeks. Her posture remains rigid, spine straight despite the mortification clearly written across her features. She's maintaining her dignity through sheer force of will.

Neia's face has turned practically crimson, her darker complexion unable to hide the flush spreading from her cheeks down her neck. She fidgets constantly, tugging at the hem of her skirt in a futile attempt to cover more leg, adjusting the bodice strings that already strain against her chest.

"They're witch apprentices!" Ureirika announces proudly. "Isn't it perfect? They match!"

"We thought it would help Charlotte feel welcome," Kuuderika adds. "Since Neia volunteered to wear one too!"

You keep your expression neutral, though amusement dances in your eyes. "An excellent choice, girls. You've dressed them both beautifully."

Nemu beams at the praise. "Right? Charlotte has such pretty hair, and Neia looks so different when she's not in armor!"

"Master," Neia manages, her voice strained. "I apologize for my appearance. I didn't realize the full extent of what I was agreeing to."

"Nonsense," you reply smoothly. "You both look enchanting. Charlotte, welcome to your first household dinner. Please, both of you sit."

Charlotte finally meets your gaze, something complicated flickering in her blue eyes before she nods once and moves toward the table. Her movements are measured, controlled, betraying years of etiquette training even while dressed in what amounts to erotic cosplay.

The three younger girls shepherd both women toward empty seats. Arche emerges from the kitchen carrying a platter, pausing mid-step when she spots her new housemate's outfit. Her lips press together briefly, clearly fighting back laughter.

"Charlotte," you continue as they settle into chairs, "you've already met the three enthusiastic little sisters. This is Arche, who teaches at our school, next to her are Lisara and Euphemia. Kallen," you gesture to the red-haired woman still seated on your lap in her bunny suit, "has already started weapons training. Milly, Villetta, Lacus, Enri, Neia, Alicia and Prim attend the school as you should to learn the first steps of fantasy adventuring."

Charlotte's gaze travels slowly around the table, taking in each face, each outfit varying from modest to revealing. Her expression remains carefully neutral, but you can see the calculation happening behind her eyes as she processes the full scope of what she's walked into.

"A pleasure to meet you all," Charlotte says finally, her French accent lending elegance to the formal greeting despite her mortifying attire.
