Don't Be a Tease, Mr. Blackwood

Chapter 285: You’re Surrounded by the Police

An indescribable fragrance filled the presidential suite.

On the living room coffee table sat an antique-style incense burner. An unknown incense burned inside, wisps of white smoke curling up from its openings. The scent caused a dull headache if inhaled for too long.

Lydia Wynn had given it to him before dinner. Nathan Jensen had brought it along and lit it with a lighter the moment he walked in.

Alaric Blackwood rubbed his temples and leaned back on the sofa. His gaze flickered to Nathan Jensen, who stood with his back to him, opening a bottle of wine at the cabinet. "Uncle Austin," he said quietly, "did you ask me out just for a couple of drinks?"

Nathan Jensen didn’t turn around. "Just think of it as a way to unwind. Work has been stressful lately, and I’ve been on edge."

"So, have you thought about my previous offer?"

"I’m still considering switching jobs. After all, I’ve been with your father for so many years. And the compensation he gives me... it’s quite generous."

"You can name your price."

Nathan Jensen opened the wine and dumped all the pills Lydia Wynn had given him into the bottle. He then placed the entire bottle into an ice bucket and reached for two wine glasses from the shelf.

"The wine needs to breathe for a bit."

He turned and walked toward Alaric Blackwood. Pulling a box of cigars from his pocket, he opened it and offered one to him.

Alaric took it, twirling the cigar between his fingers.

"Uncle Austin, let’s cut to the chase. Just name your terms."

Nathan Jensen smiled at him. "You’ve always been an impatient kid."

"No one saw us meet, did they?"

"Of course not. I’m always discreet."

Alaric Blackwood nodded.

Nathan Jensen walked over and lit the cigar for him.

The combination of the strange incense and the cigar’s aroma made Alaric Blackwood even more dizzy.

He felt like he couldn’t control his own mind, his thoughts growing sluggish.

"What is this incense? It stinks."

Nathan Jensen said, "A friend gave it to me. It’s supposed to be calming."

"Put it out. It stinks."

"Alright."

Nathan Jensen got up, opened the lid of the incense burner, and snuffed out the incense. The drugged smoke was clearly having a significant effect on Alaric Blackwood. Fortunately, Nathan had taken an antidote before arriving, so it didn’t affect him.

Once the red wine had breathed, he immediately poured two glasses. He walked over to Alaric Blackwood and placed one of the glasses in his hand.

"It’s not often I’m in the mood for this. Have a couple of drinks with me."

Alaric Blackwood’s throat was parched from the incense. He tilted his head back and downed the entire glass of wine in one go.

Nathan Jensen quickly refilled his glass. "Why the rush?"

"Thirsty."

Alaric Blackwood raised his glass and drained it again.

After just two glasses of wine, the man was already slumped against the sofa, his eyes glazed over.

Seeing him reach up to yank at his tie, Nathan Jensen knew the plan had succeeded.

He set his untouched glass of wine on the coffee table, took the cigar from between Alaric Blackwood’s fingers, and turned his back to text Lydia Wynn.

Soon, there was a knock on the door.

It was Lydia Wynn.

She had gotten a room downstairs and was just waiting for his signal.

The moment she entered, she saw Alaric Blackwood leaning back against the sofa. His Adam’s apple bobbed as his well-defined hands tore off his tie, pulling open the collar of his shirt as well. The sight was tantalizing, and she smiled in satisfaction at Nathan Jensen.

"You can go now."

As Nathan Jensen left, he secretly pocketed the key card to the presidential suite.

Lydia Wynn didn’t notice. Her attention was focused entirely on Alaric Blackwood.

The moment Nathan Jensen was gone, she eagerly approached the man on the sofa. Looking down at him with a sinister smile, she said, "In the end, you still fell right into my hands."

"Why is it you?"

"And why can’t it be me?"

Lydia Wynn moved forward and straddled his lap. Her hands pulled his shirt collar apart as her fingertips glided across his chest.

"Do you like being called ’brother’? I hated it at first, but I’ve come to accept it. In fact, I quite like it now."

"Brother, not even a pair of wings could help you escape today."

Lydia Wynn’s eyes gleamed. She absolutely loved how alluring Alaric Blackwood looked under the influence of the drug.

"Don’t do anything crazy."

"Oh, I’m going to do something crazy. Not only that, tomorrow I’m going to call the police and tell them you raped me."

As Lydia Wynn spoke, her hands clamped around Alaric Blackwood’s neck. "I’m going to ruin you. Completely and utterly. Just imagine it... what will people think when they hear you raped your own half-sister?"

"They’ll see you as an animal. They’ll despise you..."

Lydia Wynn was cut off mid-gloat as the man suddenly shoved her hard.

She tumbled off Alaric Blackwood, landing hard on the floor.

He seized the opportunity to scramble to his feet, trying to get away, but his body was too weak. He staggered for no more than two steps before collapsing to the floor.

Lydia Wynn was in no hurry. She rubbed her sore back and bottom before crawling toward Alaric Blackwood.

She pinned him firmly to the floor, her hands once again wrapping around Alaric Blackwood’s throat.

He was well and truly drugged, and now he was being choked to the point of suffocation.

Seeing his face flush a deep red, Lydia Wynn felt a wave of unprecedented pleasure. She instantly released her grip and began to furiously tear at his clothes.

His shirt was torn away, revealing his toned torso to her.

Lydia Wynn pulled a small, transparent pillbox from her pocket. She took out one of the pills and swallowed it herself. This way, she could tell the police tomorrow that she had been ’drugged’ and ’raped’.

The traces of the drug in her system, along with any marks on her body, would serve as evidence that she had been raped by Alaric Blackwood.

She would make him fall from grace, straight into hell.

"I have a surprise for you. By tomorrow, you’ll no longer be the high-and-mighty scion of a wealthy family. Your life is about to be turned upside down."

"Remember this. This is what you get for ignoring me, looking down on me, and casting me aside."

Alaric Blackwood clung to a sliver of consciousness. "What are you trying to do?"

"I want the whole world to spit on you. I want to give you a stain on your name that will never wash away."

Lydia Wynn snarled, her eyes wide and bloodshot.

She pulled her phone from her pocket, aimed it down at Alaric Blackwood, and took a picture. "What do you think your wife will think when I send her this photo?"

Alaric Blackwood gritted his teeth. "You’re insane."

"You all drove me to this."

Lydia Wynn roared, and without a moment’s hesitation, she sent the photo of the shirtless Alaric Blackwood on the floor to Sophie Shaw.

"Do you think your wife will call?"

"If she does, I’ll put it on speaker. I’ll let her listen in on all our ’sweet’ moments from the other end of the line."

A chill ran down Alaric Blackwood’s spine.

’This woman is completely insane and twisted.’

"Have you forgotten? We’re half-siblings."

"I haven’t forgotten! So what if we’re half-siblings? Isn’t it perfect? It’ll paint you as a monster, a demon who won’t even spare his own sister!"

Lydia Wynn was gloating. "You used to frequent bars and hit on women; your reputation was already in the gutter. What’s making a move on your own sister? No one will believe you’ve cleaned up your act. They’ll just believe you can’t control yourself, that you’ll sleep with any woman you can get your hands on."

Just as she was snarling all this, Alaric Blackwood suddenly started to laugh.

"Let me tell you a secret."

Lydia Wynn froze. Then she heard Alaric Blackwood say with a laugh, "The police are right outside. You’re surrounded."
