Ogerpon nodded lightly.

Lucario let out a threatening growl.

Trainer and Pokémon would stand and fall together.

Korrina gritted her teeth.

"Lucario! Maximum-power Aura Sphere!"

"I refuse to believe she can stay completely unfazed!!"

Lucario assumed a Kamehameha-like stance, condensing enormous amounts of Aura power between her palms.

Three seconds.

Five seconds.

Ten seconds…

The Aura Sphere continued growing larger while the energy inside became increasingly compressed.

"Ponii…"

Ogerpon tucked her little hands together, finally showing the faintest trace of interest.

"LUCA!!"

"AURA SPHERE!!"

Lucario and Korrina shouted simultaneously.

The massive half-meter-wide Aura Sphere blasted forward with overwhelming force, as though it could annihilate everything in its path.

"Bzzzzzz—"

Yet the dodge Korrina expected never came.

Ogerpon simply stretched out one hand.

No move.

No elemental energy gathering.

Only the monstrous physical strength born from her overwhelming level advantage.

"She blocked it!!!"

Korrina stared in disbelief.

Lucario's pupils shrank violently.

This was a Super Aura Sphere created using nearly half her energy reserves!

Even such an attack—

was still stopped cold by Ogerpon's tiny hand.

It could not advance even a single inch.

"Ponii-yaa!"

Then something even more unacceptable happened.

Ogerpon slowly clenched her fingers.

The Aura Sphere—which possessed enough power to reduce boulders to dust—

began breaking apart like a collapsing water balloon.

Like shattered glass beads exploding outward.

With a crisp crack—

the attack burst apart into scattered Fighting-type energy particles.

Using nothing but brute force—

Ogerpon crushed the Aura Sphere barehanded.

"Y-you've got to be kidding…"

"No… impossible… that's impossible!!"

Korrina couldn't accept it.

She absolutely couldn't accept this kind of battle.

This wasn't Pokémon battling at all!!

How could there possibly exist a Pokémon capable of crushing, barehanded, an Aura Sphere that Lucario spent dozens of seconds and all her strength creating?!
