As Sora spoke, he turned to Ogerpon.
"Its name is Bloodmoon Ursaluna—a special mutated individual of a species called Ursaluna."
He then took out a freshly drawn portrait.
"Ponpon, take a look. Have you ever seen this Pokémon around here?"
Ogerpon accepted the drawing and studied it carefully. After a long moment, she shook her head, indicating she had never encountered such a creature.

Sora had always believed that Mythical Pokémon weren't strongest because of raw combat stats—but because of how their abilities amplified others.

Ogerpon had been waiting eagerly. The moment she placed her mask back on, her entire presence transformed.

Sora was startled.
The shy, gentle girl-like Pokémon had suddenly radiated fierce battle intent.
"Be careful, Lilligant. Ponpon is very strong."
"Lilligant~~"
She showed no fear.
She had Victini.
Lilligant's inner monologue:
With my V beside me, we are unbeatable.

The instant Sora signaled the start of battle, Lilligant moved first.

Instead, a staff woven from glowing green vines materialized in her hands.

With a single strike—like a flash of green lightning—she slammed the nearest Energy Ball.
But it didn't explode.

In the next instant, all three Energy Balls reversed direction—faster than before—and rocketed back toward Lilligant.
"Lilligant!"
She didn't dodge.
Instead, she raised her leaf-like arm and condensed another Energy Ball.
"BOOM—"
A thunderous explosion erupted.
A violent gust swept outward, dust and debris filling the air.
Four Energy Balls colliding simultaneously released terrifying energy—enough to make even Sora's heart pound.
Yet he didn't retreat.
Not a single step.
A trainer does not fear their own Pokémon.
Even if an attack detonates right in front of them, a trainer must remain calm.

Actually tanking the blast is another.

The storm swallowed Ogerpon completely.
Sora watched as part of the hillside collapsed. Far-off rock walls were gouged with deep scars where the storm had carved through the terrain.
Under normal conditions, even at full strength, Lilligant could barely achieve destruction on this scale.
But with Victini's enhancement—
Even a hurried, reflexive attack carried power bordering on the absurd.
