Chapter 103: Meat Grinder
The deck of the Purifier interceptor was flawlessly carved from pristine white marble. Within three seconds of Seraphina landing on it, it was painted in boiling gold.
Fifty faceless Purifiers, clad in immaculate white robes and wielding scythes of hyper-condensed solid light, converged on the Demigoddess of Entropic War. They did not scream battle cries. They did not feel rage. They were the zealot caste, completely purged of emotion, operating entirely on the mathematical certainty of the Goddess’s absolute law.
They swung in flawless, synchronized unison. Fifty blades of holy erasure aimed directly at her newly forged Ascendant core.
Seraphina didn’t block. She simply let out a terrifying, euphoric laugh and swung the Eclipse Breaker in a massive, horizontal arc.
The collision of pure, unadulterated Original Sin and sterile holy magic triggered a deafening, localized shockwave. The scythes of light that managed to strike her heavy dragon-glass armor didn’t cut; they violently shattered into harmless, sparking dust. Ariel’s Legion’s Authority buff, combined with Seraphina’s own terrifying density, made her conceptually immune to their brittle kinetic intent.
[Passive Triggered: Kinetic Devourer.]
[Hostile Mana Siphoned. Seraphina’s Base Strength temporarily increased by 40%.]
"You have no passion!" Seraphina roared, the catastrophic black and violet fire erupting from her blade. "You fight like dead men! Allow me to bury you!"
The Eclipse Breaker cleaved through the first rank of Purifiers. The hyper-dense void-diamond edge effortlessly sheared through their solid light shields, their white robes, and their silver logic cores. Golden plasma violently sprayed across the marble as ten zealots were conceptually erased from reality in a single swing.
Above her, the heavy iron boarding ramps of the Eater of Dawn groaned under the weight of the Ascendant Legions.
"Advance!" Ariel’s voice boomed telepathically across the chaotic gray static of the Fold. The Supreme Commander hovered high above the dreadnought, her six void-metal wings raining heavy, localized shadows that suppressed the ambient holy leylines.
Thousands of Void-iron Brutes marched down the ramps. They did not move with the elegant, floating grace of celestial angels. They moved like an industrialized avalanche. Their heavy Void-Steel boots actively shattered the pristine marble decks of the interceptors. When the remaining Purifiers attempted to cast Axiom of Repulsion to push them back, the Brutes simply raised their massive, hyper-dense tower shields and marched directly through the conceptual barriers, completely unaffected.
This was no longer a battle of magical theory. This was a meat grinder.
The Brutes slammed their jagged meat cleavers and void-diamond halberds into the delicate, geometric bodies of the Purifiers. It was visceral, bloody, and absolute. The gray static of the Fold echoed with the agonizing sound of shattering silver and tearing flesh.

On the bridge of the Abyssal Dreadnought, Kaelen watched the slaughter with a dark, deeply satiated smirk. He rested his chin on his fist, his Level 110 Primordial Sovereign core pulsing in time with the rhythmic, heavy thud of his Brutes’ marching boots.
"Master," Elara called out from the navigation console, her hands buried in the corrupted logic engine. "The commander of their blockade is on the furthest interceptor! He is attempting to disengage his tether to the Fold! He wants to warp back to the Sphere of Radiance to report our exact armaments!"
"We cannot allow a leak, Emperor," Lyriel whispered from the shadows directly behind his throne.
"I have no intention of letting him leave," he rumbled.
He didn’t run to the boarding ramps. He simply stood up from his jagged throne. He tapped directly into the raw, chaotic well of the Original Sin and forcefully locked onto the localized gravity of the fleeing interceptor.
He took a single step forward, bypassing the physical space of the dreadnought, and stepped directly out of the shadows cast by the Purifier Commander’s own command console.
The Exarch of Purity—a Level 125 celestial entity with eight wings of solid white light—violently flinched as the ambient temperature on his bridge plummeted to absolute zero.
"Warp drive failing!" a lesser scribe panicked, its logic core sparking. "Localized gravity is conceptually inverting! We are anchored!"
The Exarch turned. His faceless silver mask reflected the hyper-dense, suffocating darkness of the Abyssal Emperor.
"Heretic," the Exarch broadcasted, drawing a massive, two-handed broadsword of blazing solar plasma. "You are a mathematical error. I will correct you."
"Your math is based on a stolen variable," he whispered, the multi-tonal resonance of his voice actively cracking the pristine marble floor beneath his heavy boots.
The Exarch lunged, channeling every ounce of his Level 125 celestial authority into a single, devastating thrust aimed directly at Kaelen’s chest. "Axiom of Absolute Eradication!"
He didn’t even draw his sword. He raised his bare, calloused hand.
He caught the tip of the solar broadsword directly in his palm. The hyper-condensed holy plasma, designed to vaporize mountains, violently flared—and was instantly, aggressively devoured by Kaelen’s God-Eater authority. The blade simply ceased to exist, swallowed by the bottomless hunger of the Abyss.
The Exarch froze, holding a hilt of dead, empty silver. His logic core completely stalled. It was a paradox he could not mathematically resolve.
"You built an empire on my blood," he stated coldly, stepping entirely inside the Exarch’s guard.
He reached out and gripped the Exarch’s pristine silver faceplate. The heavy, raw density of the Original Sin aggressively flooded from Kaelen’s fingertips, violently forcing ten thousand years of repressed Abyssal agony directly into the zealot’s mind.
The Exarch let out a harrowing, physical scream, dropping to his knees. The perfect white light of his eight wings violently flashed to a sickly, necrotic violet before completely rotting away into dark ash.
"I am the correction," he rumbled.
He crushed his fist. The Exarch’s silver mask, and the heavy celestial core beneath it, violently imploded under the localized weight of Kaelen’s ambition.
[Hostile Entity Eliminated: Exarch of Purity (Level 125). +35,000,000 EXP.]
[Blockade Destroyed. The path through the Celestial Fold is now clear.]
He let the headless, ash-covered corpse fall to the deck. He looked out through the shattered viewport of the interceptor.
Outside, the gray static of the Fold was littered with the burning, broken wreckage of the remaining nine Purifier ships. Seraphina was standing atop a pile of shattered silver logic cores, laughing maniacally into the void, while the Void-iron Brutes systematically stripped the remaining celestial bronze from the ruins.
"Elara," he broadcasted over the Abyssal Trinity link, his voice laced with absolute sovereignty.
"Yes, my Demigod!" Elara chirped, her voice buzzing with static.
"Harvest the scrap. Feed their holy engines to the Eater of Dawn," he commanded, stepping back into the shadows to return to his dreadnought. "Then chart a direct course for the outer rim. It is time we paid a visit to the Sun-Forge."
