Chapter 94: The Iron Sky
Dominus Valerius stood at the gilded prow of the flagship, The Spear of Dawn.
He was an Exalted-tier Warlord of the First Choir, a towering, heavily muscled entity of raw kinetic intent. Clad in thick, rune-carved celestial bronze and wielding a massive halberd forged from the core of a dying sun, he was the embodiment of heaven’s wrath. Behind his flagship sailed an armada of three hundred solar galleons, their massive sails woven from pure, blinding sunlight, carrying two hundred thousand battle-hardened legionnaires.
They were not scholars or judges. They were the meat grinder of the Goddess.
"Entering the localized coordinates of the Sphere of Judgment, Dominus," a winged lieutenant reported, his voice crisp and strictly disciplined over the telepathic network. "Truth-Wards are pre-cast. Solar artillery is primed. We will burn the Abyssal infection to the root."
Valerius’s golden eyes narrowed. He remembered the humiliating telepathic chokehold the Heretic had put him in through the possessed scribe.
"No quarter," Valerius commanded, his booming voice echoing across the entire fleet. "Shatter their dimensional gate. We do not knock for demons."
The three hundred solar galleons accelerated, their prows glowing with hyper-condensed holy plasma. They violently rammed into the dimensional barrier of the Sphere of Judgment, shattering the gray static of the Fold with a deafening, cosmic crash.
The Solar Vanguard expected to drop into the pristine, marble-white skies of the Third Choir and immediately initiate a localized orbital bombardment.
Instead, they dropped into a nightmare.
The moment the fleet breached the dimension, the blinding light of their solar sails was aggressively, instantly swallowed. There was no white sky. There were no floating courtyards. The armada found itself plunging into a hyper-dense, radioactive violet smog that smelled of sulfur, burning iron, and absolute, unfiltered rot.
"Warning! Ambient leylines are deeply corrupted!" the lieutenant shouted, panic bleeding into his disciplined tone as the celestial bronze of the ship’s hull immediately began to hiss and tarnish.
"Ignite the solar batteries!" Valerius roared, slamming his halberd against the deck. "Burn the smog away!"
Along the sides of the galleons, thousands of massive celestial cannons fired. Hyper-condensed beams of golden plasma violently erupted into the violet sky, aimed blindly at the ground below to clear the atmosphere.
But Elara had not been idle.
Down in the Abyssal Court, the Forge-Master sat cross-legged on the obsidian platform, her emerald eyes completely whited out as her alchemical brands forcefully interfaced with the dimension’s skybox.
"Oh, thank you for the energy!" she shrieked gleefully. "Entropic Matrix: Atmospheric Inversion!"
The moment the solar plasma hit the thick violet smog, the Labyrinth’s passive engine violently mathematically inverted it. The holy fire did not burn away the dark; it was instantly catalyzed into a torrential, localized downpour of hyper-corrosive black acid.
The acid rain aggressively washed over the celestial fleet. The agonizing screams of the First Choir echoed across the sky as the golden armor of the legionnaires actively began to melt, fusing to their flesh.
"Shields! Raise the kinetic shields!" Valerius bellowed, raising his own aura to deflect the burning rain. "Where are they?! I want a visual on the Heretic!"
Below them, the smog briefly parted, revealing the sheer, industrialized horror of Kaelen’s domain.
The pristine Zenith Spire had been entirely replaced by towering, jagged foundries of black glass and rusted Void-iron. And standing in the center of the massive courtyard, looking up at the burning fleet with a cold, predatory smirk, was the Abyssal Emperor.
Beside him stood Ariel.
The Abyssal Valkyrie unfurled her six massive, void-metal wings. The hyper-dense dark mana she had absorbed from the First Sin actively distorted the air around her. She raised her pale hand, her corrupted blue eyes locking onto the fleet above.
"Welcome to my hell, Warlords," Ariel whispered.
She violently clenched her fist.

From the sprawling depths of the Tartarus Vaults, tens of thousands of elite Void-iron Brutes marched out into the acid rain, completely unfazed by the corrosive downpour. They moved in terrifying, absolute unison, rolling out massive, newly forged Abyssal siege engines—colossal ballistae loaded with jagged, Exalted-tier harpoons attached to miles of thick, void-metal chains.
"Fire," Ariel commanded.
A hundred deafening, kinetic booms shook the earth.
Massive black harpoons violently tore upward through the violet smog, aggressively bypassing the galleons’ failing holy shields. The hyper-dense projectiles slammed directly into the hulls of the celestial warships, the jagged barbs deploying deep within the bronze framework.
"They’ve anchored us!" a legionnaire screamed as The Spear of Dawn violently lurched to the side.
"Cut the chains!" Valerius roared, swinging his halberd.
But before the Warlord could strike the heavy metal tether, a localized shockwave of pure, catastrophic black fire violently erupted from the chain itself.
Seraphina was already on her way up.
The Eclipse Vanguard didn’t fly; she sprinted up the massive, vertical chain with terrifying, impossible speed, defying gravity entirely. She was completely drenched in the corrosive acid rain, but it only served to actively fuel her Eclipse Aura, turning her into a localized singularity of hissing, boiling entropy.
She vaulted over the bronze railing of the flagship and landed heavily on the deck, the kinetic impact actively buckling the floorboards beneath her Void-Steel boots.
A dozen heavy celestial legionnaires, wielding plasma-edged broadswords, instantly rushed her.
Seraphina let out a deep, euphoric laugh that carried the weight of absolute slaughter. The sterile, mathematical puzzles of the Second Choir were over. This was the meat she had been promised.
She swung the Eclipse Breaker.
The hyper-dense void-diamond blade didn’t just cut; it conceptually erased the kinetic force of their blocks. The massive greatsword sheared flawlessly through their celestial bronze armor, their weapons, and their torsos. Golden blood violently sprayed across the deck, boiling instantly as it mixed with the entropic black fire roaring from her blade.

"Is this the best the First Choir has to offer?!" Seraphina roared, her corrupted golden eyes locking directly onto Dominus Valerius. "I was told you were Warlords! You fight like bureaucrats!"
Valerius’s eyes burned with unadulterated holy wrath. He gripped his solar halberd, the kinetic intent radiating from his body actively warping the air.
"I will mount your head on the prow of this ship, Heretic," Valerius spat, stepping forward.
Suddenly, a second, infinitely heavier presence manifested on the deck of the galleon.
The ambient temperature plummeted. The acid rain instantly froze into jagged black hail. Kaelen bypassed the chains entirely, stepping out of the gray static directly behind Seraphina, the sheer, suffocating gravity of his Level 109 core actively pressing the surviving legionnaires to their knees.
He lazily rested his hand on the pommel of a Void-Steel longsword at his hip, though he didn’t draw it. His pitch-black eyes fixed on the Warlord.
"You brought three hundred ships to my airspace, Dominus," he rumbled, a dark, deeply lethal smirk spreading across his face. "But you forgot to ask for permission to dock."
