Chapter 18: Jun’s Chamber*
The atmosphere in the grand hall had shifted from formal anticipation to a charged, almost predatory energy. As the candidates stood up to leave, the silence was replaced by the low murmur of voices and the rhythmic clicking of heels. Jun felt the hostility from the other men thicken like a fog. He could feel the glares of the Japanese candidates—sharp, envious, and laced with a sense of entitlement. To them, he was an intruder in a world they believed they owned.
As Jun and Sora began to walk toward the exit, the blond American candidate stepped into their path. He was accompanied by a stunning guide who looked as bored as she was beautiful. The man didn’t say a word; he simply caught Jun’s eye and gave him a slow, deliberate wink.
It wasn’t a gesture of friendliness. It was the wink of a man who viewed the entire Academy as his personal playground, someone who found amusement in the friction and chaos that surrounded the Prime Candidates. Jun felt a sudden, sharp throb of a headache. He knew this type of personality—the “Chaos Agent.” This was a man who didn’t just want to win; he wanted to disrupt. He was the kind of man who would stir up trouble just to see how the other pieces on the board would react.
Jun didn’t respond to the wink, simply stepping around him with Sora. He didn’t have the energy for games; he had a more pressing objective.
As they walked through the corridors toward the private chambers, the silence returned, but it was a heavy, expectant silence. Sora was leading the way, but her usual poise had vanished. She was practically vibrating with nerves. Every few steps, she would shift her weight, her body pressing instinctively against his. Jun could feel the softness of her breasts pressing harder and harder against his arm, her breasts molding to his side as if she were trying to merge her body with his.
“Are you alright, Sora?” Jun asked, his voice a low, soothing vibration.
“I… I’m fine,” she whispered, though her voice was shaky. “I just… I want this to be perfect. For you.”
Jun smiled, his grip on her hand tightening. “It will be.”
They arrived at the door of their assigned private chamber. The door was a seamless slab of matte black metal, devoid of any ornament except for a small, glowing slot for the key card. Sora stopped, her breath hitching. She looked at the door, then at Jun, her eyes wide and shimmering.
“We can start whenever you’re ready,” she murmured, her voice barely audible. “Once you put the key in… the recording begins.”
Jun didn’t hesitate. He took her hand, leading her toward the center of the room as he slid the key card into the panel.
The effect was instantaneous.
The heavy doors hissed shut behind them with a definitive thud, sealing them away from the rest of the Academy. Simultaneously, the lighting in the room shifted. The bright, clinical overheads dimmed into a soft, sultry amber glow, casting deep, romantic shadows across the space. The temperature dropped slightly, the air conditioning kicking in with a cool, crisp breeze that made the warmth of their bodies feel more intense. And then, a scent began to fill the room—a delicate, intoxicating blend of vanilla and sandalwood that seemed to heighten every sense.
Jun stepped back, taking in the chamber. It was a masterclass in luxury. The room was an expansive suite, dominated by a massive, circular bed draped in charcoal-grey silk sheets. The walls were a mix of polished obsidian and mirrored glass, reflecting their figures back at them from every angle, creating the illusion that they were not alone, but surrounded by versions of themselves. To the side, a walk-in shower was enclosed in transparent glass, the water already humming with a low, inviting warmth.
The room felt like a cocoon, a private sanctuary designed specifically to strip away the distractions of the outside world and focus entirely on the two people within it.
Sora stood in the center of the room, her chest heaving. The change in the environment—the dim light, the scent, the sudden isolation—had pushed her over the edge. She looked at Jun, her eyes hazy with a mixture of fear and an overwhelming, pulsing desire. She looked small in the vastness of the room, yet her presence was the only thing Jun cared about.
Jun didn’t waste another second. He stepped forward, closing the gap between them in a single, decisive movement. He reached out, his hand sliding up the back of her neck, his fingers tangling in her hair as he pulled her face toward his.
He didn’t give her time to think. He crashed his lips against hers in a kiss that was far from the gentle affection of the previous days. This was a claim. It was a deep, hungry, and demanding kiss that tasted of longing and authority.
Sora let out a muffled moan, her body collapsing against his. She kissed him back with a desperation that bordered on violence, her arms wrapping tightly around his neck, her fingers clutching at his hair. She had spent her whole life being the one in control, the one who managed the expectations of a corporate empire, but here, in the amber glow of the chamber, she wanted nothing more than to be completely overwhelmed.
As they kissed, Jun’s other hand began to explore. He didn’t rush; he moved with the calculated precision of a man who knew exactly how to evoke a reaction. His palm slid down her back, tracing the elegant curve of her spine before descending to the flare of her hips.
He cupped the fullness of her ass, pulling her pelvis flush against his own. Sora gasped into the kiss, her body arching instinctively. She could feel the hard, thick length of him pressing against her through their clothes, a promise of the intensity to come.
Jun’s hand didn’t stop. He began to knead the soft flesh of her buttocks, his fingers digging in with a possessive grip that made Sora’s knees buckle. She whimpered, a small, broken sound of pleasure that echoed in the quiet of the room.
He broke the kiss for a moment, his lips grazing her jawline, his breath hot against her skin. “The recording has started, Sora,” he whispered, his voice a low, dark command. “The whole Academy is watching. Now… show me how much you’ve been wanting this.”
Sora’s eyes fluttered shut, her face flushed a deep, vivid crimson. The knowledge that they were being watched should have made her shy, but instead, it acted as an aphrodisiac. The idea of the world seeing her submission to Jun made her feel a surge of pride and arousal.
She looked up at him, her gaze completely undone, her lips parted in a silent plea. She was no longer the CEO, no longer the guide. She was simply a woman, trembling in the arms of the man she adored, ready to be taken.
