Cameron To Candy

Chapter 71.25 Pineapples & Melons

Seemingly by coincidence, Vivian left the bathhouse at the same time as Candy and Lennie.

"Where are you going Viv? This isn't your way home," Candy asked.

"Oh, just an errand at the market." They had barely made it a block away when Vivian glanced over at Lennie. “Hey, you don’t have to be home right away, do you?”

Lennie shook her head. “No. Actually, cousin Marcus very specifically said we should stay out if we can. It was kind of weird, actually.”

Candy glanced at her. He had said that right after walking in on her practicing blow jobs for the academy class, Oral Devotion 201. He’d shoved money into her hands, a very uncharacteristic Marcus action, and had practically thrown her out the door.

“He said there was no reason to rush home,” Lennie added.

Vivian’s face brightened immediately. “Uh-huh. Well, great! Come run an errand with me.”

Candy knew that look. “What errand?”

“Just an errand.”

Candy narrowed her eyes. “That doesn’t answer the question.”

Vivian ignored her as they turned off the main street and headed another couple of blocks through the shopping district. It was warmer than usual, especially after spending the morning soaking in the bathhouse, and Lennie fanned herself lightly as they walked. Vivian noticed.

“Lennie, you look like you’re overheating a bit.”

“Well, I guess I am a little warm.”

“Here, let me help you with that.”

Before Lennie could ask what she meant, Vivian reached over and flicked open the top button of her blouse. The effect was considerably greater than one button should have reasonably produced.

Lennie’s magically augmented mommy milkers had already been straining the blouse to its limits. Freed of that top button, it settled into the new space with an impressive amount of cleavage suddenly on display. Candy stared. It was almost Susie-level. Almost.

Lennie looked down at herself and immediately went pink. “Oh my.”

“There.” Vivian smiled. “Much cooler, right?”

“Well... yes, but…”

“Problem solved.”

“But I feel so improper.”

Vivian waved that away. “Oh, no, no. Everyone understands it’s Augmentation Week, I’m sure.”

Candy looked sideways at her. “Do they?”

“Absolutely.”

Lennie seemed less convinced. As they continued down the street, she became increasingly aware of people looking at her. Most of the attention came from men, although a few passing women gave her disapproving glances.

Lennie tugged nervously at the front of her blouse. “You know, this isn’t really my style exactly. Maybe I’ll just button it again.”

“Oh, wait until after this store,” Vivian said.

Lennie stopped. “What does the store have to do with my blouse?”

“Nothing. It just tends to be hot in there.”

Candy looked at Vivian again. Vivian smiled sweetly. Candy sighed.

A moment later, they stepped into a small produce shop tucked between a cobbler and a tea merchant. Crates of fruit lined the walls, including several varieties Candy recognized and a few imported ones she didn’t.

Vivian walked straight to the counter “All right, I’m here for the pineapple.”

The young man behind the counter looked up and immediately recognized her. His expression changed.

“Oh, miss Vivian!”

“Wonderful to see you too.”

He reached beneath the counter and produced a pineapple. “Six copper.”

Vivian recoiled. “Six? That’s highway robbery!”

“It came all the way from Floatsome. And the season is nearing its end.”

“You gave me two for six last time.”

“Yeah, well, my mum thinks I gave it to you for the wrong reasons.”

Candy raised an eyebrow. Vivian put a hand against her chest. “Whatever could she mean?”

For just a moment, Candy could practically picture the previous transaction. Vivian leaning against the counter, smiling up at him, laughing at something that probably wasn’t funny, while somewhere behind him his mother slowly shook her head at the son she had apparently raised without sufficient awareness. Though, in the man’s defense, Paddlewickian women weren’t supposed to flirt for better prices or question a man over said prices. Vivian was unusually adept at skirting social rules for a girl her age.

Vivian, clearly having expected she might not be able to pull the same trick again by herself, turned toward Lennie.

“Well, my dear cousin from out of town so wanted to try a pineapple.” She caught Lennie gently by the arm and pulled her forward. “Lennie, tell the man how much you wanted a pineapple.”

Lennie looked confused. “Cousin? Uh. Well, I do like pineapple, but I did have some last wee—”

The shopkeeper wasn't even listening. His eyes had dropped considerably below Lennie’s face. Vivian noticed. Candy noticed. Lennie, somehow, did not.

“Oh, honey,” Vivian said suddenly. “You’ve got something on your back. Here, lean forward while I get it.”

“What?”

Vivian put a hand lightly between Lennie’s shoulders and guided her forward.

Lennie obediently bent toward the counter. The weight of her breasts pulled her. The shopkeeper stopped moving. Vivian carefully picked at a completely imaginary piece of lint.

“I don’t see why I had to lean over for that.”

“You know, it’s just the best position.” Candy pressed her lips together. The shopkeeper was staring so intently that Candy wondered if he remembered there was a pineapple involved at all. Vivian straightened Lennie back up. “So,” she said. “Three copper?”

The young man blinked. “Three wha…?”

“Copper. Three.”

His gaze wandered toward Lennie again. “Th-three you say?”

“That’s what you charged me last time.”

He swallowed. “Well... I suppose. Just this once more.”

Vivian immediately placed the copper coins on the counter.

“You’re a wonderful man.”

He handed over the pineapple while still staring at Lennie. “So, um, miss,” he began, forcing his eyes back upward. “Would you perhaps do me the honor of—“

“Oh, look at the time!” Vivian cut in. “We’d better get going! Thanks again! You’re a prince,” she spat out while ushering Lennie out the door. They were halfway down the block before Candy finally gave up trying not to laugh.

The man didn’t know what hit him. Candy couldn’t blame him. Paddlewick had laws regulating cleavage, which were lax only during special circumstances like augmentation week, so he probably didn’t have much experience with that kind of visual assault. Candy probably would’ve been caught off guard as Cameron too.

She leaned toward Vivian and lowered her voice. “Did you just use my cousin-in-law’s melons to get a cheaper pineapple?”

Vivian winked. “Poetic, right?”

Lennie’s footsteps slowed behind them. “Wait.” Vivian kept walking. Lennie stopped completely. “That’s what you were doing?” Candy turned around. Lennie was staring at Vivian in horror. “The button?” Vivian smiled. “The leaning over?” Vivian’s smile widened. “Oh!” Lennie grabbed her blouse and buttoned it so quickly she nearly caught her finger. Candy burst out laughing. Vivian joined her, while Lennie turned such a bright shade of red that Candy immediately felt a little bad for her.

“Oh, come here.” Candy wrapped an arm around her. “Sorry, Lennie. Vivian is... Vivian has a certain way about her.”

Lennie buried her face in her hands. “Ah! I’m going to get cited for lewd behavior. It’s going to be my first write-up!”

Vivian laughed. “Honey, if that was going to happen, it would’ve happened already. It’s all right. And if it does, I’ll take the heat for you. Don’t worry,” she said, patting Lennie on the shoulder.

Lennie slowly lowered her hands. “Oh. Oh, good.” She put a hand against her chest and took a breath. “Ooh, my heart’s pounding! I’ve never been a bad girl before!”

Vivian laughed again and slipped an arm around her. “And you still haven’t girlypop.”

Candy looked at the pineapple tucked under Vivian’s other arm. “You’re a terrible influence.”

“A terrible influence who just saved three copper!”

Candy considered that and wondered how Marcus would react. He’d probably be pretty damn put out at her risking Lennie's reputation. On the other hand, he would absolutely respect getting a good deal. Well, either way, it’d be best if they never told him about this little adventure.

As they walked down the market ring, Lennie reassured Vivian that she did not have to rush home. Vivian's smile spread across her face as she began steering them toward her own home.

"Let's go to my house," she said. "I want to see if you can hold a milk bottle between those jugs!"

Spoiler

So yeah, to help inform the vote, if you don't mind the mild spoiler: adding to the arc, lots more breast fun, meeting Lennie and Vivian's parents (separately), some flashbacks to the Wives Academy, some martial AHEM, stress relief, the Spankswells considering how long they will allow Penny to continue working abroud, etc. So, some chapters are as long as this, some half the size, some Candy-centered, and some with very little Candy/Cameron in them
