"What do you want?" Cat eventually reached where I was sitting and glared at me with a vicious expression on her boyish face.
"You’re late" I wasn’t bothered even a little bit by her attitude since I knew it was definitely dark and smiled at her while standing up.
"You think you can just order me around!" Cat trembled and quickly pointed out a trembling finger toward me.
"You came didn’t you?" I said with a smirk on my face and quirked one of my eyebrows toward the tomboy.
"Y~you!" Cat’s eyes shook and she trembled even more while looking down at the ground to hide her expression.
’You can’t hide from me’ I thought with amusement seeing that the tips of her ears were flushed a bright red.
"Come on" I held out my hand toward Cat who raised her head and looked down at it with hesitation in her eyes.
"Where are we going?" She asked with clear wariness as if I was planning to do something nefarious.
"To get ice cream" I said with a smile and moved my hand before reaching down and quickly grabbing hers.
"E~eh!?" Cat eyes widened as she stared down at our entangled fingers with clear embarrassment but I ignored her reaction.
"Let’s go" I stepped forward and pulled the tomboy along while feeling nothing but amusement at her stiff expression.
"...." Cat didn’t resist and let herself be pulled while staring down at the ground with her ears turning even redder.
’She has surprisingly soft hands’ I thought wondering how she could be so boyish and girlish at the same time.

I pulled Cat to the nearby ice cream shop that was just around the corner from the school. The owners thought that they would get a lot of business from students but whenever I walked past it was usually pretty empty. I guess that most people my age would rather go to the convenience store or get fast food on their way home, I on the other hand had gone here on different occasions with both Alice and Charlotte.
"One vanilla and one strawberry" An older woman with wrinkles around her eyes smiled while holding the ice cream to me.
"Thank you" I took both of the cones from her hands and gave her a respectful smile before turning around.
’Perfect weather for ice cream’ I muttered going outside the shop and walking over toward a small seating area nearby.
"Here you go" I approached Cat who was sitting at a table awkwardly and held out the strawberry cone to her.
"....Thank you" Cat snatched it from my hand and proceeded to give the cone a few licks in a stiff like manner.
"I didn’t expect for a girl like you to like strawberry ice cream" I said taking a seat across from her while licking my own cone before giving the boyish girl a glance.
"What’s that supposed to mean?" Cat paused mid lick before glaring over at me like she wanted to punch me.
"Nothing" I smiled innocently and ate my ice cream while ignoring the obvious glare shooting in my direction.
"....." Eventually though Cat looked away and held her cone with both hands and started to lick the ice cream repeatedly.
’She’s like a....cat’ I thought seeing her tongue lapping up the strawberry ice cream the same way a cat would drink water.
’She really is cute’ I watched the tomboy while feeling a different emotion in my chest that hadn’t been there before.
I had always disliked Cat in the past, Although it wasn’t due to her personality but the fact that she always argued and insulted me. Now that I could see Cat’s affection level I knew that she only did those things because she had a crush on me, So instead of finding her irritating I actually found her cute and amusing. Despite looking quite boyish Cat was still attractive and her body that she hid away was very curvy, It was hard not to feel a little bit of affection for her.
’It’s weird how finding out someone else likes you can change your entire opinion of them’ I muttered in my head while tasting the sweet vanilla ice cream in my mouth.
’If Lucas knew about Cat’s crush on me he would probably lose his mind’ I couldn’t help but think about my friend who was obsessed with Cat.
’Well he got to see my sister naked so it’s fair’ I shrugged my shoulders before looking back up at the girl across from me who had ice cream on her lips.
