Chapter 430: What’s A Dildo?
Even though Nala had stopped trying to leap out of the boat and throw herself into the lake like some melodramatic water spirit, she was still visibly trembling. Her arms were tight around herself, tail coiled anxiously, and her body pressed so close to
Cassius he could feel the tiny shudders running through her skin. She was trying to act calm, but it was obvious. She wasn’t.
Cassius noticed it instantly.
"Nala." He murmured, pulling her closer into his arms, his voice lowering into a quiet, warm whisper right by her ear. "Hey. Listen to me. You’re alright. Really."
She bit her lip, not answering, just looking off toward the shore where the three figures still were, wondering what they were talking about.
He leaned in closer, brushing his nose against her temple. "You remember what you saw last night?" He said gently. "The three of them. Aisha. Skadi. Julie."
She nodded slowly, still curled against him.
"Well...yeah. It’s obvious. They’re all mine."
Nala turned her head to look at him, blinking slowly.
"They’re not just my partners, Nala." He said softly. "They’re family. Just like you’re going to be very soon."
Her breath caught.
"And that means we’re all...together. The same." He continued, threading his fingers gently through her hair. "So it’s only natural that, sooner or later, things like this happen. Embarrassing stuff. Weird stuff. Intimate stuff. But it’s not a big deal. You’ll get used to it. Just like they did."
"...They got used to it?" She murmured.
He smirked. "Nala, those three saw each other last night in the exact same kind of situation. More than saw. And no one batted an eye. I mean, Skadi was touching herself, Julie was moaning, and Aisha, well, she wasn’t exactly quiet, was she?"
Nala’s face turned pink.
"So trust me..." Cassius continued, his arm circling around her, holding her close. "...they won’t judge you. You’re one of us now. That’s just how it is. All part of being a family."
Nala stared at him, her expression slowly shifting from alarm to thoughtfulness...then into something much softer.
But then, her eyes narrowed, and her cheeks puffed up in a pout. "Wait. So the wives back at home, too? Are you saying you do embarrassing things with them in front of everyone as well?"
He gave a laugh, unashamed. "Of course."
"R-Really!" She squeaked.
"I mean, c’mon. We all sleep in one big bed, Nala. You think I’m running a schedule? Like, one wife per night? I’d die from the politics alone."
He grinned and shrugged. "It’s just better for the family to be a family. That means meals together, sleeping together, and yeah...sometimes, naughty stuff too. It happens."
Nala’s face turned a bright pink, and her tail gave a single awkward flick in the water.
"That’s...Cassius, that’s really embarrassing to think about..." She looked at him, flustered and hesitant. Then, slowly, she took a breath. "Still...if that’s what it means to be with you, then I’ll get used to it. Even if it’s embarrassing, I’ll do it. Because..."
Her hands clutched at his chest, her eyes sincere.
"If it means I get to stay with you, I’m willing to do anything."
Cassius’s heart melted just a little more. He smiled warmly. "That’s my girl."
Then he turned his head toward the shore and chuckled. "And speaking of family...they’re still standing there watching us."
Nala jerked her head around to see Julie, Aisha, and Skadi at the edge of the lake.
Cassius raised a hand and waved. "Might as well greet them properly!"
Nala, though blushing hard, forced a wobbly smile and joined him, giving a small wave. "H-Hi..."
But the reaction she got wasn’t what she expected.
Aisha’s face darkened like a stormcloud. She narrowed her eyes, even showed off her sharp claws, and spun around, walking off with a sharp flick of her silver hair.
Skadi, normally smug and giddy, was wide-eyed and strange, pitiful even, as she hugged her own tail like it was her only remaining loved one, cast one last dramatic glance back...and left with the slowest walk of betrayal Nala had ever seen.
Julie alone stayed a second longer. She offered a small, serene smile, then turned and followed the others, calm but unreadable.
And seeing this, Nala’s face fell in horror.
"Cassius!" She panicked, her hands clutching at his arm. "They definitely hate me now! Aisha glared, and Skadi looked like she was going to cry! They must hate me for doing those things with you!"
"You said they’d be okay with it, but look! They’re not okay! What am I going to do?!"
Cassius gently squeezed her shoulders. "Nala, calm down. I promise you, they’re not upset with you and rather someone else."
"Someone else? Who is that someone...?"
She blinked, confused to which he sighed and rubbed the back of his head before saying,
"They’re probably mad at me. The thing is, this morning...I may have pulled a little prank on Aisha and Skadi after our night together."
Nala squinted at him suspiciously. "...What kind of prank?"
"Well..." Cassius cleared his throat, suddenly sheepish. "I thought it’d be funny to, uh...gently push the tips of their tails into their...you know...while they were sleeping."
Nala choked in disbelief. "Cassius!"
"I thought it’d just be a funny surprise." He said with a defensive shrug. "Just a little wetness at the tip, you know?..But turns out, their tails are like cotton, once the soaking started, it didn’t stop. Their whole tails were drenched in their own...well, you know. From tip to base. They woke up to that."
Nala stared in horror. "You drenched their tails?!"
"They looked like drowned rats." He admitted, a sheepish grin on his face. "And furry-races treat their tails with pride. So yeah, they woke up, screamed, bit me, scratched me, and I took it. I deserved it...But I think they’re still holding a grudge."
"Of course they are!" Nala groaned. "Especially Skadi, her tail is so fluffy! Seeing it soaked like that must’ve broken her heart..."
"Tell me about it. Apparently she cried more for her tail than the first time she got slashed by a sword."
Nala giggled at this before then looking down at her own tail and let out a soft sigh. "Well...at least I don’t have to worry about that."
"What do you mean?" Cassius turned to her, raising an eyebrow.
She gave a small smile, a little self-deprecating before saying, "I’m just saying, my tail’s not like theirs. It’s not fluffy. It’s cold. Scaly. Not soft like theirs...not warm like a normal demi-human tail. So it’s not really something you’d cuddle."
Cassius saw the way her tone dipped, the little frown forming on her lips. He reached forward and gently cupped her cheeks.
"Hey, hey. None of that." He said firmly. "Don’t you dare compare your tail to theirs."
Nala looked up, startled.
"I mean it." He whispered, his breath tickling her ear. "I probably shouldn’t say this, but...I prefer your tail."
Her eyes widened. "You don’t have to lie to me..."
"I’m not lying." He took her hand and placed it against the side of her own tail. "These scales? They’re soft, smooth, warm in the sun...Not to mention, they don’t shed everywhere."
He leaned in closer. "When I use Aisha or Skadi’s tails as pillows, I end up sneezing half the time because they’re covered in fluff. My face turns into a furball."
Nala gave a shaky giggle.
"But your tail." He continued, running his hand along the curve of it gently. "It’s smooth. Comfortable. Delicate. I could fall asleep on this thing like it’s the best mattress in the world. And these scales...they shine like gemstones. They’re beautiful, Nala. Just like you."
Her eyes lit up, shimmering with emotion. "You really think so?"
Cassius smirked. "Absolutely. And besides...your tail is the only one I can ride on. Aisha or Skadi’s would snap in half if I tried that."
"That’s right!" Nala’s cheeks puffed up with pride. "Mine’s strong and comfy!"
She crossed her arms, tail lifting behind her with renewed energy. "Their tails could never carry you while letting you nap at the same time. Only I can do that. I’m clearly the superior ride."
"Exactly." Cassius laughed. "You’re a whole luxury suite rolled into one woman."
She snorted. "A luxury lamia suite."
Nala leaned into him proudly, basking in his warmth and praise, her mood finally lifted after all the chaos. But Cassius, always watching, always calculating, noticed the soft, slow sway of her tail tip as it flicked lazily near his leg.
A spark flickered behind his eyes.
He leaned forward and whispered close to her ear, his voice smooth, teasing.
"There’s actually...one more thing your tail could do, you know."
Nala blinked, pulling back to glance at him with a raised brow. "Oh? And what devious nonsense are you plotting now, Cassius?"
He smirked. "Let’s just say...I’ve been thinking. That tail of yours? It’s got potential. Multi-purpose. I mean, it could be used like a...well, like a certain kind of toy."
She tilted her head. "Toy? What kind of toy?"
Cassius chuckled softly. "Something called a...dildo."
Her face scrunched in confusion. "A...what now? That sounds ridiculous. Is it some kind of fishing device? Or maybe a bathhouse brush?"
He laughed even louder. "Not quite, Nala. It’s an apparatus. Like one of your inventions. But not for fishing. It’s for...pleasuring women."
The moment the words left his mouth, her eyes widened, her tail giving a sharp twitch. "Pleasuring—? Wait, what?!"
He nodded with a wink. "You know. It’s shaped like a cock. They use it when they’re alone. Push it in, pull it out, that sort of thing."
Nala opened her mouth, closed it, then opened it again. Her face lit up in pure mortification.
"O-Oh. Ohhh! That kind of...apparatus..."
She buried her face in her hands.
"I’ve...heard of those! Gossip! Among noble women. Whispers about some secret factory in the capital that makes them for lonely wives whose husbands are off at war." She peeked between her fingers. "But...I didn’t know that’s what they were called..."
Cassius grinned. "Well now you do."
"But what does that have to do with my tail?" She asked warily, narrowing her eyes.
"Everything." He said simply, reaching out and gesturing for her tail. "May I?"
Reluctantly, face flushed with curiosity and dread, she guided the tip of her tail toward his hand. He took it gently, rubbing a thumb along the scales.
"See." He murmured, voice low. "It’s smooth...strong...flexible...It doesn’t look like a cock, no, but it’s got something those toys never will."
"It can move. Curl. Explore. It can adjust. Adapt. Imagine what it’d be like for a lonely woman to have something like this...something warm and alive and completely under her control."
Nala’s breath hitched. "Y-You make it sound like some kind of dream apparatus..."
"For some, I bet it is." Cassius gave her a look. "You’ve got something women would kill for. You might not see it that way, but your body...it’s built for more than just beauty. It’s versatile."
He slowly brought her tail to her own chest, dragging the tip gently along the underside of one of her breasts, letting it tease the sensitive skin near her nipple.
Her breath caught. "Cassius..."
"Come on, Nala." He tilted his head. "Don’t tell me, you’ve never experimented with your own tail during your private time? Never once thought about it?"
Her cheeks flared, and she stammered. "I-I use my hands! That’s it! That’s already embarrassing enough!"
"Really?" He grinned. "Not even once? Not even a little touch? You have a living, sensual tool attached to your own body, and you never thought about seeing what it could do?"
She puffed up. "I may be shameless sometimes, but I’m not that shameless. You’re the one who thinks of these bizarre things!"
"Bizarre? Or brilliant?" Cassius leaned in closer, voice soft and playful.
Nala bit her lip. The idea, ridiculous as it was, had already planted itself. The way her tail moved, how responsive it was...what would it feel like, truly? To have something alive, sensitive, exploring her...inside?
She shivered. Her tail twitched in her lap, curling in faint uncertainty.
"I mean..." She mumbled. "The idea itself is outrageous. But...I am a little curious..."
Cassius lit up.
"There it is! Curiosity! That’s all it takes." He grinned evily. "You’re wondering, aren’t you? How it would feel. If the tip would tease, or slither. If it’d move different than your fingers."
"I-I didn’t say that!" She snapped, face beet red.
He chuckled. "You didn’t have to...It’s written all over your face."
He leaned close again, brushing her hair back gently, whispering into her ear with all the warmth of a lover and the mischief of a devil.
"And think about it, Nala, we’re already out here, skin against the sun, no one to interrupt us anymore. And your body’s still warm. Still wet. Why not...give it a try? Just a little. For science."
Nala’s breath trembled. She stared ahead, the still waters of the lake catching her reflection. Her tail twitched again.
She didn’t move.
Then she glanced up at him, cheeks flushed, eyes nervous but curious, voice quiet.
"...For science?"
Cassius grinned. "Exactly."
She gave him a look, caught halfway between disbelief and suspicion, but her tail flicked again, restless. That curiosity was blooming fast now, crawling up her spine, nibbling at the base of her thoughts like a flame licking oil...
