Chapter 245: Gift
Song Qingwan brought out a pair of black, strappy, thigh-high stockings.
Zhao Dong scratched his head and cleared his throat. "What are you doing with those?"
Song Qingwan covered her lips, her face flushing like a peach blossom as she said shyly, "Don't you like them? I saw online that all you men do."
Zhao Dong exhaled a long breath, the sight of her igniting a fire within him. He pulled her into a tight hug, his voice deep. "I like them! I like you no matter what you're wearing!"
At that moment, Song Qingwan's breathing grew hot as well, and she kissed Zhao Dong passionately.
Soon, she gently pulled back and planted a kiss on his cheek. "I'm putting them on," she said, her face flushed. "You... don't peek yet."
"Okay," Zhao Dong said, swallowing hard. He felt like he was on the verge of exploding. He heard a faint rustling, and a moment later, Song Qingwan's sweet, shy voice sounded out. "Ready."
Zhao Dong opened his eyes, and the scene before him made his entire body freeze, his breath catching in his throat.
Song Qingwan stood there completely bare, all her beauty laid out before him. Her long, snow-white legs were encased in the thigh-high black stockings, the delicate straps adding a unique allure. With her legs being so long, the sight made his blood run hot.
He was going to lose his mind!
Seeing his gaze, a shy yet coquettish look appeared on Song Qingwan's face. She lay down on the soft bed, her eyes filled with longing as she looked at him.
Staring at her, Zhao Dong swallowed hard again, momentarily unsure how to devour this perfect fruit.
Song Qingwan wrapped her arms around him, their bodies pressing close together. Feeling his warmth, her body trembled. She stroked his hair, her soft, quivering voice whispering in his ear, "Zhao Dong, I've missed you so much..."
A crimson glint flashed in Zhao Dong's eyes. Without any further hesitation, he unleashed a torrential assault.
The atmosphere in the room turned sensual. Before long, a series of Song Qingwan's indescribable moans echoed through the room.

Two hours later, everything had subsided. Song Qingwan was nestled against Zhao Dong, her face flushed and her breathing still not fully recovered from its ragged pace. At that moment, looking at the man before her, her heart was filled with immense happiness.
"Zhao Dong, I want to be your woman forever. You must never, ever forget me."
Zhao Dong looked affectionately at her and gently kissed her beautiful face. "Okay, I promise you..."
Their eyes met, and a wave of tenderness rose in Song Qingwan's heart. After a moment, a charming smile spread across her lovely face, and she whispered in his ear, her breath warm and sweet, "Are you tired yet?"
Zhao Dong's body shuddered. Before he could react, he saw a shy blush tinge Song Qingwan's face as she lowered her head.
A moment later, it felt as if a current of electricity shot through his body, an ineffably wondrous sensation sweeping over him. Watching her work so earnestly, Zhao Dong felt a pang of tenderness and gently stroked her hair. She lifted her eyelids, casting a sultry gaze at him before shyly looking away, too embarrassed to meet his eyes.
Vague, indistinct whimpers began to fill the room...
After what felt like an eternity, the room fell quiet. Song Qingwan rested her head on Zhao Dong's shoulder, her eyes filled with a lingering affection. "Zhao Dong, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could spend our whole lives like this?"
Zhao Dong smiled and tapped her nose. "Silly girl, we can spend our whole lives like this."
"But you have other women, and they also hold a place in your heart."
A sorrowful look filled Song Qingwan's eyes. Zhao Dong scratched his head, at a loss for words.
Her gaze was resentful for a moment, but then a look of resignation appeared, as if she had reconciled herself with the thought. "Alright, I was just teasing you. Zhao Dong, I don't have such extravagant hopes. I just want you to remember me."
Zhao Dong gently stroked her silky black hair and smiled. "Let's not talk about that. It's your birthday, and I haven't even given you a gift yet. What do you want?"
Song Qingwan shook her head. "I don't want anything. Having you here with me is enough."
"Aren't you going to work this afternoon?"
"I can take a half-day off. Will you spend it with me?" A hopeful, expectant smile appeared on her face, as if she were terrified he would refuse.
Seeing that anxious yet hopeful look on her face, Zhao Dong's heart constricted. Song Qingwan had given him her very best; she was a tragic yet sensible woman. If he couldn't even make time for her, it would be terribly unfair. At that thought, he smiled. "Okay, I'm all yours this afternoon. Tell me wherever you want to go, whatever you want to look at, or anything you desire!"
"Yay!" A blissful smile spread across Song Qingwan's face, and she planted a firm kiss on his cheek.
Zhao Dong hugged her and chuckled. "So excited. Have you thought about where you want to go?"
Song Qingwan gave a wry smile. "I can't think of anywhere right now. I feel like the happiest thing would be to just lie here in the hotel with you all afternoon."
"Silly girl," Zhao Dong said with a smile. "The weather outside is perfect; we can't waste it. And speaking of which, I still haven't given you a present. I just thought of what to get you."
Song Qingwan started to ask more, but Zhao Dong placed a finger on her lips. "Don't ask. Just come with me."
At this, Song Qingwan's eyes began to redden, a watery mist veiling them. She couldn't help but hug Zhao Dong tightly, her voice choked with emotion. "Zhao Dong... ever since my parents passed away, no one has ever offered to get me a birthday gift... Thank you, Zhao Dong."
He gently patted her on the shoulder. "From now on, I'll be by your side for every birthday."
With red-rimmed eyes, Song Qingwan said, "Zhao Dong, after we buy the gift, will you go somewhere with me?"
"Where?"
"To my family's old house. My parents are buried near there. Today is my birthday, which was also a day of hardship for my mother. I want to go and see them."
A jolt went through Zhao Dong's heart. "Okay! But you have to promise to come with me first. I'm buying you something."
Song Qingwan finally nodded. "Okay!"
After another tender moment, the two got dressed.
Song Qingwan didn't ask any more questions, and Zhao Dong didn't elaborate. He set a destination, hailed a taxi, and took her there directly.
Curiosity was written all over Song Qingwan's delicate face as she glanced at him from time to time.
Zhao Dong grinned. "Curious, aren't you?"
"Of course, I am. You aren't going to buy me a really expensive gift, are you? You really don't have to."
Zhao Dong smiled. "Anything less valuable wouldn't be worthy of you! You'll see when we get there!"
His words only made Song Qingwan's curiosity grow.
About half an hour later, the taxi arrived in an area south of East Sea City's center. The car stopped, and Zhao Dong helped Song Qingwan out.
As she stepped out of the car, Song Qingwan looked ahead and was instantly stunned.
