Chapter 200: Seal!
He didn't refuse her, not wanting to break Shen Zhuxin's heart again.
She clutched his arm tightly. It was already covered in a mix of angry purple and green bruises. Gently leaving a row of teeth marks on Zhao Dong's shoulder, Shen Zhuxin whispered with teary eyes, "Zhao Dong, I don't ask for much love from you, just remember me... remember that there's a girl whose heart is completely filled with you."
Zhao Dong nodded heavily. A single tear fell from Shen Zhuxin's eye as she snuggled closely against him. His solid frame was her greatest support.
「Finally, an hour later, everything calmed down.」
Shen Zhuxin's face was flushed and her eyes were glazed. She was nearly faint with exhaustion, on the verge of falling asleep. Zhao Dong's heart ached for her.
He gently covered her with the blanket, then quietly left and closed the door. So much had happened that morning; Shen Zhuxin was truly exhausted.
Zhao Dong didn't linger. He wrote a note for Shen Weiping, telling him that Shen Zhuxin was resting and shouldn't be disturbed. After one last look at her, he departed.
Shen Zhuxin was Zhao Qirou's friend, so they would have many more chances to meet in the future.
Shortly after leaving Shen Zhuxin's home, Zhao Dong was driving when he noticed something was wrong. He glanced in his rearview mirror at the car that had been tailing him and frowned. Who could it be?
As a former special forces soldier, he was inherently sensitive to such things, and now that he had embarked on the path of cultivation, his senses were even sharper.
With a cold smirk, he sharply turned the wheel to the right at the next intersection, veering onto a small side road. The car behind him kept up the pursuit, immediately turning to follow.
A cold glint flashed in Zhao Dong's eyes. After driving for a bit, he pulled over by a small river. The area, surrounded by various factories, was quite deserted.
After parking, Zhao Dong lit a cigarette and silently watched the approaching car. It screeched to a halt a short distance away, and its doors opened.
Two figures got out at the same time.
Zhao Dong's gaze fell upon them, and his brow furrowed instantly.
It was a man and a woman. He knew the woman well—it was Song Zixuan. The man beside her, however, was a stranger.
The man had an extraordinary presence. He was dressed in the exclusive white battle attire of the Dragon Corps, his eyes were like lightning, and he exuded a formidable aura.
The pair walked up, stopping about five meters in front of Zhao Dong. Song Zixuan glared at him, while the man beside her scrutinized him from head to toe before speaking in an icy tone.
"So, you're the Zhao Dong who has been bullying my junior sister?"
Zhao Dong narrowed his eyes, glancing at Song Zixuan. "So, you brought backup?" he retorted coldly.
Song Zixuan gritted her teeth. "Zhao Dong! Let me tell you, this is my Senior Brother, Kuang Tianhao! He's already at the peak of the seventh-level Grandmaster realm at his young age! Today, he's going to teach you a lesson!"
Zhao Dong's brow tightened. He was currently at the fifth level of Qi Refinement, capable of holding his own against a fifth-level Grandmaster and even fighting a sixth-level one. But a seventh-level Grandmaster... I'm definitely no match for him!
Looking at Zhao Dong, Kuang Tianhao spoke with a frigid gaze, "Brat by the name of Zhao, if you know what's good for you, kneel and kowtow to my junior sister a few times, then slap yourself fifty times. Do that, and I'll spare you today. Otherwise, I'm breaking your legs!"
Zhao Dong's eyes turned bone-chillingly cold in an instant. "Who the hell do you think you are, threatening me? I'll give you a choice, too. Kneel and call me Grandpa Zhao a few times, and maybe I'll spare my dear grandson today."
Kuang Tianhao exploded with rage. "I am a Dragon Captain of the Dragon Corps! How dare you speak to me like that? You won't be leaving here in one piece today!"
With a roar, Kuang Tianhao's oppressive aura erupted. His hand shot out like a cannonball, aiming straight for Zhao Dong's throat. Veins bulged on Zhao Dong's forehead. Kuang Tianhao is strong! Reaching the seventh level of the Grandmaster realm at his age is an incredible feat; he's a true prodigy. Besides, he's a few years older than me, so his combat experience can't be any worse than mine.
Gritting his teeth, Zhao Dong knew that while his chances of winning were slim, he had to fight. A cultivator would rather die in battle than surrender!
Zhao Dong instantly circulated his qi and blood, pouring all the Spiritual Energy in his body into his right fist. Empowering it with the Dragon-breaking Fist, he lunged toward Kuang Tianhao.
"A mere insect dares to resist? I'll shatter your hand!" Kuang Tianhao sneered. With a low roar, a fierce light erupted in his eyes as he unleashed his full Spiritual Energy, blasting it straight at Zhao Dong.
BANG!
Their fists collided. At the epicenter of the impact, the paving stones on the ground shattered, sending fragments flying in all directions.
A sweet taste rose in Zhao Dong's throat as blood gushed from his mouth. His qi and blood roiled as he was sent flying backward uncontrollably. Kuang Tianhao, meanwhile, also stumbled back several steps, his face pale and his internal qi in disarray.
Although Kuang Tianhao seemed to have the upper hand, he was deeply shocked. Zhao Dong doesn't have strong Spiritual Energy fluctuations... At most, he should be at the first or second level of the Grandmaster realm! I'm a seventh-level Grandmaster! I can send a sixth-level expert flying with a single punch! That's the crushing advantage of superior strength! And yet, in that exchange, I was actually forced to retreat! His punch was far stronger than I could have imagined. For a moment, I couldn't believe it! How is this possible? How could a cultivator who's only at the first or second level push me back?
A sharp light flickered in Kuang Tianhao's eyes as he stared at Zhao Dong, a profound sense of wariness filling him.
