Chapter 162: Endless Battle, Part Two
“Little Flame Belle, possess!”
“Ying~” Little Flame Belle cried out like a little demoness, blowing her flute joyfully.
Little Flame Belle slammed into Mo Fan's chest and immediately set his skin on fire. Even his hair stood up under the surging heat.
The Calamity Fire formed into a graceful armor plate, turning Mo Fan into a flame devil. Even his pupils were burning with fire!
At almost the same moment, Lightning Belle also flew up excitedly. Her tiny body was wrapped in dazzling arcs of lightning. She circled around Mo Fan once, then crashed into him as well.
“Zi ying!!!”
The moment Lightning Belle combined with him, the purple black lightning around Mo Fan changed completely. It was no longer just ordinary lightning, but a far more savage and domineering calamity lightning. The lightning did not simply paralyze or blast apart its target. It carried an explosive tearing force, like countless violent lightning snakes drilling into flesh and bones at once. Once it struck, it would spread through the undead body like a living plague of destruction, shattering muscles, rupturing bones, and exploding the undead crystal with terrifying penetrative force!
Flames and lightning intertwined around Mo Fan's body.
His aura rose again.
The Calamity Fire made him look like a flame devil.
The Calamity Lightning made him look like a heavenly executioner.
But then buzzzzz the Lightning belle got kicked out the same that happened before. The elemental spirits could not combine as 1 just yet. "It seems fusion magic is the only way Feng Zhoulong my friend I need you soon"
“Meteorite Fist: Nine Dragons!”
With a magnificent aura and raging flames, Mo Fan's punch launched nine savage fiery dragons forward. This time, however, the dragons were not only wrapped in calamity fire, their bodies were also entwined with crackling calamity lightning. The nine dragons ripped through the undead tide like nine violent punishments descending at once. Wherever they crossed, the Servant class undead were not simply burned away, they first exploded under the lightning and were then devoured by the flames, leaving not even complete ashes behind...
When the nine fiery dragons landed on a Corpse General simultaneously, the Warrior level undead with hundreds of zombies under its command was annihilated on the spot. Calamity lightning first blasted apart the crystal and internal structure in its body, and the calamity fire immediately swallowed the rest. Its enormous figure only left a pile of blackened dust that was blown away by the violent impact.
The Meteorite Fist: Nine Dragons swept the place. Apart from killing the Corpse General instantly, it even annihilated over a hundred more undead. The Super Mages watching the fight through the Wicked Eye Copper Mirror stared at the ash and dust scattering across the place in disbelief...
Was that really just the power of an Advanced Mage?
They had never seen Fire and Lightning working differently against eachother in such a tyrannical way!
Zuo Feng subconsciously grinned when he saw the punch. He had already been astounded the last time he saw Mo Fan's monstrous fire, but now it was even more outrageous. This Mo Fan was indeed not an ordinary person!
“Only around a thousand undead left, it won't be a problem if the two of them work together,” observed Yao Nan.
Yao Nan was the most familiar with Mo Fan's strength, yet even he was visibly shaken by the punch. It was likely that the attack would heavily injure even some Commander level creatures. As expected of this violent Magician, no ordinary Magician could cultivate Fire and Lightning to such a level!
“His elemental spirits are absurd...” said Han Ji in a low voice.
“The little Flame Belle is already extremely rare, but that Lightning Belle is just as terrifying. One possesses with fire, one possesses with lightning. The Fire one grants calamity fire, and the Lightning one grants a calamity lightning with both explosive penetration and destructive spread. No wonder his spells are so abnormal!”
The others might have been unaware, but Han Ji immediately understood the value of those two elemental spirits.
A Flame Belle alone was already something that even Super Mages desired.
Now Mo Fan had two such beings.
One of fire.
One of lightning.
And both could combine with him!
Han Ji could not help but admit that Mo Fan had greatly surpassed every expectation they had of him.
“Yeah, and his Basic Spells are all at the fourth tier. On top of that, he already has six elements at the Advanced level. Fire, Lightning, Summoning, Shadow, Space, and Light. I’m afraid ordinary Advanced Mages simply cannot be compared to him at all!” said Lu Xu.
“Six elements...” one of the Imperial Mage leaders muttered blankly.
The people around the copper mirror fell into a short silence.
Only now did they fully realize what that meant.
An ordinary Advanced Mage had three elements.
Mo Fan had six.
Double the number of elements, double the possibilities, and a completely different ceiling!
“Our sacrifices were worth it!”
Glancing down through the Wicked Eye Copper Mirror, they clearly saw Mo Fan weaving through the pack of undead. His strength was no longer something that could be measured with normal standards. He was like a walking catastrophe among the undead, every spell creating another patch of death!
The surprise did not stop at Mo Fan's outstanding strength.
As Zhang Xiaohou joined the fight from the other side, his outstanding control of the Wind Element immediately drew everyone's attention.
He had only just reached the Advanced level.
Yet the way he used wind was astonishingly mature.
The violent currents around the battlefield were like invisible extensions of his body. A sweep of his hand would send a great number of undead off balance, another movement would redirect the tide, and another would gather the undead into the perfect killing zone for Mo Fan's destructive spells. He was not merely attacking. He was controlling the battlefield itself!
The delegation of tasks was extremely important. For a pure brute force Magician like Mo Fan, if he was given the opportunity to use his magic at will, he could eliminate hundreds, or even thousands of undead. What Zhang Xiaohou did was to give Mo Fan exactly that opportunity!
More importantly, Zhang Xiaohou himself was also changing.
Mo Fan glanced at the remains of the zombies scattered across the ground. He had eliminated the five poisonous zombies with ease. He could clearly feel the difference in his power after achieving the Advanced level. Instead of the need to focus when casting Basic Spells, he could now cast them by waving his hands. Together with his improved movement and quick reactions, the Servant class no longer posed any threat to him. If it weren't for their overwhelming numbers, the fight would simply be a one sided massacre!
Zhang Xiaohou was the same, except he was a Wind Mage.
As he drove another wave of wind across the battlefield, shredding several undead apart and pushing dozens more into disorder, he finally understood the feeling.
After stepping into the Advanced level, the Wind Element no longer felt like something external that needed to be carefully guided.
It felt like his own limbs had extended into the battlefield.
The wind could arrive wherever his thoughts went.
His control was far finer than before.
His movements were far lighter than before.
Even the speed at which he connected Basic Spells had changed completely.
Instead of carefully guiding every current, he could now fling them out instinctively, and instead of simply creating gusts or blades, he could make the wind bend, gather, redirect, and suppress.
The Servant class undead no longer posed much threat to him either. If it were not for their overwhelming numbers, Zhang Xiaohou alone could already keep a large area completely under control!
The people in the clock tower were visibly impressed.
“He only just broke through, yet his Wind control is already this good?” one of the old experts blurted out.
“He isn't just attacking, he's controlling the whole tide of battle!”
“And look at his casting rhythm... for someone who just entered the Advanced level, that is ridiculous!”
Yao Nan nodded slowly.
“His talent in Wind was always high, but after the breakthrough, it has become even clearer. He might not have Mo Fan's destructive madness, but in terms of battlefield control, his value is astonishing.”
At that moment, Wolfie also moved.
The Snow Frost Star Wolf had been waiting coldly, almost like a king watching a worthless army throw itself forward. The moment a few stronger Warrior level undead tried to force their way through the battlefield toward Zhang Xiaohou, Wolfie's icy eyes flashed with disdain.
He moved like a silver white phantom.
His body was only at the advancing Warrior level, yet his presence was much more terrifying than that. His Emperor bloodline pressure rolled across the battlefield like an invisible frost storm. The nearby undead instinctively trembled. Even those with no true intelligence still slowed in fear, as if the pressure from a higher bloodline was crushing down on them.
Wolfie pounced onto a Warrior level skeleton with absolute savagery. His claws smashed through the undead's upper body, and an icy force instantly spread from the wound. Before the creature could even struggle, its entire body was frozen rigid. Wolfie bit down, and the frozen skeleton exploded into a rain of white shards.
Another Corpse General charged in from the side, but Wolfie was even faster. He vanished from sight, reappeared above it, and slammed it into the ground with a claw strike so violent that the rocky land cracked open. Frost spread through the undead's body like veins of ice, freezing its joints, suppressing its movement, and reducing it to a brittle lump before Wolfie tore its throat apart in one bite!
He was not simply strong.
He was dominant.
Royal.
Oppressive.
Like an apex predator that looked down on all lower life.
The old experts in the clock tower were stunned once again.
“That wolf...” Lu Xu muttered in disbelief. “How can an advancing Warrior level beast be that strong?”
“It is suppressing the undead with bloodline pressure!”
“And its actual combat power... that's already comparable to Mid Commander level creatures!”
No one in the clock tower had known about Mo Fan's contracted beast before.
Now that they were seeing Wolfie fight with their own eyes, they were completely shaken.
Mo Fan himself was monstrous.
His two elemental spirits were monstrous.
And even his contracted beast was a monster among beasts!
“Thunderbolt: Wild Strikes!”
No, not thunder.
Lightning.
Wait what happened Lightning belle pushed the flame belle out of his merger.
With Lightning Belle merged into him, what descended from the sky was no longer ordinary lightning.
Purple black calamity lightning bolts crashed down in rapid succession. Each strike split midway and forked into several violent branches, making the attack feel less like a spell and more like heavenly punishment. The bolts drilled into undead bodies and then erupted from within, blowing them apart in bursts of crackling devastation. Some were reduced to charred fragments, while others had their undead crystals shattered instantly.
At the same time, Little Flame Belle puffed her cheeks and breathed out fiercely. The calamity fire she released surged forward and fused with Zhang Xiaohou's guiding winds. Under his control, the flames spread even faster and wider, becoming a blazing fire storm that swept the undead into its center and incinerated them all. The fire and wind complemented each other so naturally that even Mo Fan glanced back in brief surprise.
Only a few undead were left.
The authorities watching from afar definitely did not expect this to be the outcome.
Since the Space of Death was under the effect of the Chaos Element, Mo Fan and Zhang Xiaohou might actually make it out from the Space of Death with their outrageous strength and find the altar!
