Chapter 22 - 022 It’s another scammer (Part 1)
"Oh my, is that Tiantian? You’ve really changed a lot, I hardly recognized you!"
The neighbor lady was astonished as she circled around He Tiantian, scrutinizing her from head to toe and side to side.
He Tiantian didn’t act as she had in the past, shyly lowering her head or hesitantly staying silent.
She held her head high, her youthful and pretty face beaming with a smile, gracefully letting the neighbor lady size her up while cheerfully saying, "It’s summer, my hair was too thick and got hot, so I decided to get a haircut!"
"Good for you! A young girl like you should keep it neat and fresh, it looks so much nicer!"
The neighbor spoke enthusiastically, "Tiantian, not to intrude, but your bangs used to be so thick and long before, didn’t they bother your eyes?"
The key point was He Tiantian’s once melancholic and timid temperament, coupled with those thick bangs, made her look almost like a ghost from a school horror movie!
He Tiantian did not say anything further, she simply smiled and then bid the neighbor farewell and left.
As she turned to leave and hadn’t gotten far, He Tiantian could hear the neighbor mumbling softly—
