Chapter 600 Mary's Summon
Bang!
Yukime’s fist landed heavily on a man’s chest.
Crack!
The sound of bones breaking rang out.
The man’s chest visibly caved in. His entire body, like a cannonball, flew sideways, sliding dozens of meters on the ground.
Yukime blinked, staring blankly at the corpse before her. “Am I… this strong now?”
“Don’t space out. There are others.”
Ayato’s voice sounded at the right time.
“Yes.”
Yukime immediately snapped back to reality.
As a fox tribe member, she had seen her share of slaughter.
After getting past her initial surprise, she calmed down completely and began to move.
“This woman is a monster too.”
“Quick, run!”
The others were already terrified. They turned and fled without hesitation.
But by then, Yukime’s attacks were already upon them.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
With each dull thud.
The men didn’t even have time to scream before their bodies flew sideways like torn sacks.
“Good job.”
Ayato stepped forward and gave Yukime a head pat.
“Hee hee.”
A bright smile appeared on Yukime’s face.
Master’s big hand was so warm.
But.
Feeling the gazes of her fellow tribespeople, her expression became slightly troubled.
Next.
How would she explain all this?
If her mother found out she had become a Devil, it probably wouldn’t be easy to accept, right?
Sensing Yukime’s thoughts, Ayato smiled. “Don’t overthink it. Alpha will help you.”
“Yes.”
Hearing their conversation, Alpha smiled slightly, took Yukime’s hand, and said, “Come on, I’ll go explain with you.”
“Thank you, sister.”
Hand in hand, they went before the fox tribespeople.
No one knew what was said between them.
After a long moment, Alpha gave Ayato an OK gesture.
“Looks like it went smoothly.”
Seeing this, a smile played on Ayato’s lips.
The next moment.
His expression flickered slightly.
“Interesting. Someone actually used a Devil flyer from this world?”
Tap, tap, tap!
On an empty street, only heavy footsteps echoed.
Mary ran quickly across the ground. Her once sturdy robe was now tattered.
Her beautiful face was covered in exhaustion.
She felt her strength rapidly depleting, but she couldn’t stop. She could only frantically push her dwindling reserves.
“Hahaha, the legendary vampire hunter, stop running. Accept your fate.”
“Haha, weren’t you a great fighter? Why aren’t you fighting?”
“I love this kind of hunt.”
Sinister laughter echoed from afar.
Vaguely, one could see countless crimson eyes, all radiating cold killing intent.
“These bastards.”
Mary gritted her teeth, but was helpless.
This was a real oversight.
Falling into these vampires’ trap.
Though she had fought her way out.
These vampires, like hounds, had been pursuing her relentlessly.
Was this the end?
A look of desperate, bitter smile appeared on her face.
But then.
She caught sight of a corner of her robe.
“What is this?”
Mary instinctively pulled it out. It was a flyer with an obscure, complex magic circle.
It was loot taken from a few vampires she had eliminated earlier.
She had kept it as a collectible because the magic circle was unlike anything she had seen before.
But Devils… could such things exist?
But what if they were real?
Hope appeared in her eyes.
She was now truly at the end of her rope.
Once the vampires behind her caught up.
Given her current stamina, she would be torn to pieces in no time.
In this situation.
Gambling cost her nothing.
“Fine.”
Mary gritted her teeth and spoke directly, “Mr. Devil, please grant my wish.”
After speaking, she continued running with the flyer.
But in her heart.
She grew heavier and heavier.
Because even after the summoning attempt.
She didn’t truly believe Devils existed.
She was, after all, a legendary vampire hunter.
In her long years, she had witnessed countless bizarre events.
But among them, there was no trace of Devils.
That alone spoke volumes.
It was probably just some bored person’s prank.
She sighed softly.
But the next moment.
The flyer shone brightly.
