Chapter 306: Don’t You Know I’m No Good For You?

"Kosta... you don’t have to be here," Tamiko said to his Erasthai who was standing by the closed door. He wasn’t sure what was going on in Kosta’s mind, but Tamiko wanted to make sure he knew he didn’t have to be here like this.
Granted, ruts were known to be the hardest of times for alpha males, and even worse for princes, but Tamiko was sure he could get through this without compromising the integrity of their bond.
He didn’t want to have to push Kosta away. He didn’t want to be the one who scared his Erasthai into looking at him differently. If anything, Tamiko was fine with whatever the arrangement was right now.
His rut would probably take a week at best, and he would be alright by the end of it. Or so he hoped. Then again, there wasn’t much he could do. And without someone to help him through it, he would be in a literal hell.
It was a truth that lingered for the both of them and frankly, there was more horror for the prince than relief that was headed his way. Perhaps there would be an easier way out of this, right?
They both knew it, but even then, Tamiko made sure that Kosta knew he had a choice.
He was never going to take that away from Kosta. Not today and certainly not ever. His Erasthai would have it do whatever it was willingly, and not because of a desperate alpha prince who didn’t know how to go through the hurt alone.
Maybe it was insane, but wasn’t that what their bonds always were about then?
