"The next person is the Lycan Chief, the royal omega and my son’s Erasthai, Chief Konstantin," King Zaffuto spoke confidently. There was pride in his tone like this was easily the best thing that had happened in his miserable life.
It was like he had lived for years and years for the realm to get to this point. King Zaffuto had always found it odd that there was an omega in his timeline and an omega who had managed to strive so hard to be the Lycan Chief.
It was unheard of, for an omega to be working that hard, and even worse, for him to be that powerful. Perhaps a part of the king had always known that Igor Konstantin was destined for greater things and even roles.
Perhaps he had seen for himself that there was more to this, but even he was not a man of fate, because, at the end of the day, he never got to question that presence again.
He had considered letting the realm know of the existence of an omega in his kingdom, to see what would happen, and yet as horrible as he was, the mad king had protected the Lycan Chief with his honor.
It was almost like he was the most important person in the king’s circle when he was just a barbarian who worked away from home.
’He should be back now,’ the mad king had thought to himself more than he could ever admit over the years.
There were days when Zaffuto was certain that the omega would never make it back home, days when he expected the realm to combust at the mention of a Lycan omega in Kawai.
