"So, you’re just going to leave me again, hmm?" Tamiko mumbled slowly that Kosta could have missed it if he wasn’t holding on to the last bit of hope for them. It was like a breath of fresh air for the Lycan Chief and Kosta; he could have jumped for joy if he wasn’t so afraid of getting rejected by his Erasthai.
His fear had crippler him more than once and it was thought he would deny it because that was his worst nightmare. He had suffered for a long time, but he knew Tamiko had suffered worse than he had ever heard.
"Y... You want me to stay?" Kosta asked sheepishly.
"No, it’s okay. You do you," Tamiko said and that was all Kosta needed to take huge strides toward his Erasthai. He had missed the pretty boy so much that he was not sure there was anything else that could hold them back.
Standing there before Tamiko, Igor could feel his heart beating so loud. He wasn’t sure what this meant for the both of them, but the fact that there was no malice or anger in Tamiko’s eyes was giving him hope.
His Erasthai was letting him back in and he was not going to fuck this up. But at the same time, he needed to be sure. Since they had been Erasthais, Kosta had sworn to never invade his mate’s privacy.
He didn’t want to be the person Tamiko was ever uncomfortable around, and he didn’t want to be the one who made life harder for him. Granted, his kidnapping had crossed the t on the worst of them all, but Kosta was certain that he would never let that happen to him again.
He wouldn’t ever put Tamiko through that and hells be damned if he ever thought to mess with the person he loved more than life again.
