Chapter 207: No Time To Break A Soul

"You’re here for Daniel. He is my son’s best friend and while I don’t see the point in this official conversation, I have to do it, for my Kaito," King Zaffuto began as he stared at Alpha Ashton and his son, Gabriel Grealor.
The excitement that had once been on Gabe’s face had long disappeared thanks to the king’s command on his son. None of them had expected that the King would ever use that on the kid he had sworn to protect and love, and that in itself got everyone in line.
If the man could do that to his son, then there was no telling what he would do with them or to them, now that they were stinking of the race he despised with all of him.
"What do you mean your Kaito?" Alpha Ashton asked and Gabe stared at his father. He could see that Alpha Ashton was trying to piss off the King and that was not good for them.
Someone had to remind the alpha that they were not in Grealor where they could do whatever they wanted with Tamiko. It was dangerous and there was not a chance that things would ever get smoothed over as thought of.
Alpha Ashton had to think and fast because otherwise he would be dooming his people to a fate no one would ever save them from.
"My son... You may know him as Tamiko. But everyone knows him as Kaito Hinata, my son and the Lycan prince of Kawai," King Zaffuto said without even missing a beat. He sounded proud of his son who was staring at him in anger.
But that didn’t matter to the king, not right now because he had to smooth things over and make sure his son didn’t have anything to be worried about. Then again, for someone with such a vision, he was already doing a terrible job judging by the anger on his son’s face.
