"Leave... please. I want to be alone," Kosta breathed brokenly, his breaths slow and defeated. He looked like he just wanted to disappear and forget about all that had transpired that day.
His hair was disheveled and his clothes were soaked in the blood of the ministers. He looked so different from what he had been like that morning, a very big contrast to what he had hoped to be.
He felt like shit, his mind closely filling up with thoughts of the worst happening to him.
The fear of abandonment that he had fought for years and years while he kept asking his scent had resurfaced and it wasn’t just low this time. It was hitting him at full throttle and the worst part of all this was that he didn’t have family to run to.
He didn’t have someone other than Tamiko.
He had always been alone in the kingdom of beasts, trying to best himself when his life had forced him to take up arms. He was the Lycan Chief, and it hurt like hell to be stuck in that state.
Oh, how Kosta was overthinking again. He hated himself for being that weak, for not being born a stronger breed, for being born the weakest of the lot, and for being stepped on in an instant.
He was still haunted by the ministers and their cruel words. Sure, they were dead right now, but their words had remained stuck in Kosta’s head. He would always be the omega of Kawai, and the only omega for this timeline.
