So, they had to stay together so that they could at least protect each other from the attacking birds when they were still absorbing zombie crystals because even though they could indeed continue fighting using their weapons, they were still weakened.
Luciel would only join them if they happened to cross paths with each other.
Well, Treyton could actually also go on his own because his abilities were very strong and even more lethal than Luciel’s attack power, but Treyton still decided that it was better for him to lead the other members and fight together.
