Chapter 300 - 299: The birds hunt on the base
The others continued training, and a week later, Treyton went to talk to his grandfather about the details of their upcoming mission.
Since they were already prepared to head out, Treyton sought more information from his grandfather.
When Treyton returned, and after everyone finished lunch, he took out a map and highlighted the key areas where they should focus their search for materials, as well as the supplies they would need from the base.
Treyton explained that their main priority was to find food. The marked areas on the map contained large warehouses that stored grains and other packed foods.
The weather had been bad recently, and they weren’t sure how much these areas had been affected, but their mission was clear: to check these locations and retrieve whatever supplies they could salvage.
The next priority was fuel. The map indicated only a few places where they could find more fuel, but they were to gather it from any location they encountered.
In addition, they were tasked with collecting as many seeds as possible, and they needed to look for supplies necessary to build the walls—especially cement.
While food and fuel were their main priorities, the team didn’t need to search extensively for the other materials. However, they still have to pay more attention to those things and collect them if they come across them.
Afterward, Treyton and the others carefully planned their routes to avoid wasting time while heading to the marked areas on the map. They also aimed to steer clear of the most populated areas.
Their main objective was to gather supplies, but they were cautious about entering cities or areas with very large populations.
