Cleaning and other tasks were completed ahead of schedule, allowing most of the team to focus on preparing the food and drinks. Thanks to their cooperation and speed, everything was ready within three hours.
When Luciel stepped into the back garden, he saw that it wasn’t just cleaned—it was beautifully decorated.
The plants had been neatly arranged, with many of them in full bloom. Ribbons and balloons hung from the trees, interwoven with flowers, adding vibrant colors throughout the space.
The garden felt alive, bursting with color and atmosphere. Surprisingly, despite the hot weather, it wasn’t uncomfortable at all.
Zam had discreetly placed large blocks of ice at the corners of the garden, cleverly hidden within the decorations, keeping the temperature pleasant.
Beach chairs and tables were set up under proper shade, and the pools also had covers, making it comfortable to swim without worrying too much about the sun.
Though they had returned to the North Base a few months ago, the first month had been dominated by snow.
After that, they had been constantly busy with missions, and the weather hadn’t been ideal—so swimming was never really considered, even though their villa had large pools.
Even though the garden had been well-maintained, it had never looked this vibrant. The pools had remained empty, and no one had thought of using them in such times.
Yet now, in just three hours, the garden has been transformed into a space with a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere—completely out of place with the harsh reality outside the base.
