Chapter 161 - 160: Going around the base
"The base has been continuously warning the people that the water was contaminated and even the snow was already contaminated so it wasn’t drinkable.
Unfortunately, a lot of them still drank melted snow in the end and ended up becoming zombies.
There are always soldiers inspecting different areas from time to time because of such people.
So, in this sudden winter, the base had been dealing with the corpses of those that became zombies together with the corpses of people that froze to death," Treyton added.
"It’s really getting harder to live. If the situation continues to worsen, even those of us with some ability will have a hard time surviving," Nathan said with a sigh.
Of course, it’s hard to survive in such an environment. Those who froze to death and those that turned into zombis because they drank unclean water all died because they didn’t have enough ability.
It’s really harder for those ordinary people to survive, so Luciel could also understand why a lot of them still died even though the base had given something for their survival.
The people with superpowers were still having a hard time and weren’t living that comfortably so of course those that lacked ability were living harder lives.
So, to live comfortably, it’s good to become stronger.
"I really need to keep stronger, so I also have to train more," Nathan said with more determination.
"Yeah, everyone needs to become stronger," Treyton said.
