They had driven away a lot of people who were recommending themselves to him.
It was almost becoming their main job because in almost every place that they would go, there would always be someone who was throwing themselves at him, whether it was women or men.
Dion was just one of the people who was attracted to Sir Treyton.
So Derek really doesn’t like him because he was already acting out of line by driving away some of Sir Treyton’s lovers in the past even though he wasn’t even noticed by Sir Treyton.
Every time Sir Treyton picked a lover, Derek was always hoping that they had a better temper so that they wouldn’t be the ones suffering from it.
Treyton had always instructed them to treat the lover he had as if it were his wife, so they had to be respectful to anyone that became Sir Treyton’s lover.
They had already experienced a lot, those people who always pretended to be good in front of Sir Treyton, but as soon as he was gone, their temper would start to show.
He wasn’t like Zam and Wes, who needed to always be by Sir Treyton’s side, so he was one of the bodyguards that was most likely to be assigned to be the temporary guard of those lovers if they needed one or the person assigned to watch over them.
He had experienced how overbearing and arrogant some of Sir Treyton’s lovers could be.
So, for him, Sir Luciel, who was too lazy and was just watching movies, eating snacks, and sleeping, was really too easy to serve compared to the others.
He doesn’t need to go and be a handyman to carry a lot of shopping bags, and he also doesn’t need to act as a mediator for every trouble they cause.
