"They’re clearly strong enough on their own. Why do I even need to join them? Besides, I don’t have the energy to go and fight," Luciel answered leisurely without caring about Ava’s tone.
"Liar! How can you not have enough energy to fight when you sleep even longer than me?"
Ava clearly misunderstood what he meant by saying he had no energy to go and fight. When he said that, he just meant that he was too lazy to even move.
Someone was already solving the problem. Why would he even bother to join and tire himself out?
The situation in the settlement doesn’t even have any connections to him.
