Jane spoke calmly but they could still see that she was only acting calm as she was still clenching her hands tightly.

I also went out to get some food later, when we finished all our stocks.
Our house is just across, so I saw you guys going into this building yesterday.
It suddenly rained heavily, and Sophie also got a fever this morning. I went to look for medicine, but I couldn’t find any.
The water level was already rising very fast, so I had to try my luck here.

Luciel knew Jane was smart based on what she said when she just entered.
Even though she was asking for help, she still knew that most people wouldn’t actually help if there wasn’t any benefit they could get after helping.
