Chapter 21 - 20: Arrival of the guests
"Ok, there are indeed enough people. Then, I’ll just go and tell Nina to buy more things."
Both of them tacitly didn’t mention what happened a while ago and just went along with their usual interactions.
"We have enough stock. What do you want Nina to buy?"
"I’ll just let her buy more meat and snacks. The ice cream, cookies, and chocolates I have are already running out," Luciel said, and he went to find Nina.
Luciel let Nina buy a lot of his snacks and, of course, other ingredients they needed. He let her buy at least enough food that could last for a week.
The novel said that Treyton only woke up five days after the meteor shower, so he would be staying in the villa for at least a week.
He didn’t want to starve while waiting for other people to wake up. So, he let Nina buy a lot of food for a week.
Nina also didn’t ask anything, thinking that they might use a lot of ingredients in their barbecue party.
After telling Nina what to buy, Luciel went back to the living room and sat next to Treyton.
But he didn’t pay attention to the news that was being broadcast on the TV; instead, he busied himself downloading movies, offline games, and books on his phone and tablets.
There was no mention that the internet connection was working after they woke up.
