Chapter 324: Restriction Lifted
Many spectators, who loved to watch a good drama, started cheering for Long Ming.
This just went to show how much resentment the public held for members of the major guilds.
Just then, Kaber landed. He looked up at the approaching Red Ghost and snorted.
"I can’t believe you actually took out Hai Ying. What a useless piece of trash!"
"It makes no difference. You’ll be dead soon enough,"
Long Ming said in a raspy voice.
"Haha, that’s hilarious! You can’t possibly think that just because you took down one or two Standard Mechanical Gods, you can beat me, can you? Today, I’ll show you the true Power of a Mechanical God."
Kaber stomped on the ground, his aura peerless as he charged toward Long Ming.
His thruster wings were damaged, so he couldn’t kite his opponent, but Kaber didn’t care in the slightest. Close-quarters combat was what he excelled at.
Long Ming’s pupils contracted. He pushed his Red Demon armor to its limits, unleashing a terrifying red aura as he powerfully met the charge.
The two collided.
BOOM~
A massive shockwave swept outward.
Terrifying Power washed over Long Ming. His bones creaked under the strain as his body was forced to slide backward.
’I didn’t expect a custom Third Generation Mechanical God to be this strong. I actually lost in a direct clash of Power.’
’It seems the upper limit for this set of armor is a high-end custom Third Generation Mechanical God.’
Kaber was also surprised. ’This guy actually withstood it.’
"Kid, who the hell are you? How dare you oppose our Twilight Guild?"
Kaber questioned, his face grim.
"A dead man doesn’t need to know,"
Long Ming replied coldly.
"Haha, you’ve got a lot of nerve! Let’s see how tough you are after I twist your head off!"
Kaber aimed a sharp kick at Long Ming.
Long Ming swiftly jumped back to dodge.
Like a rampaging Fierce Beast, Kaber rushed Long Ming and brought his blade down in a vicious slash.
Long Ming sidestepped the blow and swung his blood-red blade in a horizontal slash.
Kaber quickly retracted his blade to block!
CLANG~
Sparks flew everywhere.
Then, both simultaneously withdrew their weapons and viciously struck at each other’s vitals.
SCHRRRIP~
Both were left with a five-centimeter gash.
Long Ming and Kaber immediately leaped back to create distance.
"Kid, you’ve got some skills!"
After clashing with Long Ming, Kaber felt an extreme sense of danger and immediately dropped his contemptuous attitude.
Long Ming glanced down at the blood seeping from his wound. Instantly, the blood in his veins began to stir, his eyes gradually turned red, and he let out a low roar.
The wound healed rapidly, and his aura began to climb manically.
"What the hell? Why does his gear look so much like the biological series? Impossible, absolutely impossible!"
Kaber’s expression turned incredibly ugly.
He almost suspected his opponent was using equipment from the biological branch, but he immediately dismissed the absurd idea. Only Fourth Generation Mechanical Gods or higher could possibly use a biological framework.
At that moment, Long Ming charged furiously toward Kaber.
Not to be outdone, Kaber met him head-on, swinging his blade.
The two collided once again.
BANG!
A massive shockwave swept outward.
This time, Long Ming successfully withstood Kaber’s attack.
The streamer Mude spoke in shock.
"My God, a Second Generation Mechanical Armor just withstood a custom Third Generation Mechanical God! Am I seeing things?!"
"No way, this is too fake!"
"Is that really Second Generation gear?"
"Is Kaber throwing the match? Is he trying to fix the fight?"
"Idiot, would he dare? Their vice-chairman is right there in the VIP box!"
.....
Countless bullet comments flooded the screen.
Back in the arena, Sedek saw Long Ming fighting Kaber on equal footing and could no longer sit still. The calm composure he had before was gone.
If Kaber lost, it would be more than just a simple loss.
The guild’s reputation would be dragged through the mud.
Meanwhile, Cleene was growing more and more interested. She was actually starting to hope this solo player could take down Kaber.
Her Dawn Guild had already lost anyway. It wouldn’t be so bad if the Twilight Guild was dragged down with them.
The main thing was, if she couldn’t be happy, no one could.
Just then, Long Ming’s Power erupted, violently knocking Kaber aside.
Kaber staggered back two steps, forcing his mecha’s frame to stabilize.
Long Ming charged forward ferociously, swinging his blood-red blade at Kaber in a relentless frenzy, his aura screaming of mutual destruction.
Kaber was forced onto the defensive, able only to block continuously!
Their blades clashed again and again.
Sparks flew.
Kaber suddenly found himself on the back foot, completely suppressed.
’I’m a top expert from the great Twilight Guild, and I’m being suppressed by a solo player? If I lose this fight, how can I ever show my face again?’ He couldn’t stand the humiliation.
A crazed look appeared in Kaber’s eyes. He pushed the Frenzy’s power core to its maximum and, with a powerful slash, sent Long Ming flying.
He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath before snapping them open again.
"Limiters released! Power maximized."
Instantly, the triangular crystal on the Frenzy’s chest erupted with a blinding light, and arcs of electricity coursed over its entire body.
"Kid, you’re impressive for pushing me this far. But this is where it ends."
After speaking, Kaber stomped on the ground and charged forward like a tyrannosaurus, his blade screaming through the air as he swung it down at Long Ming.
"Violent Slaughter Slash!"
"Look, it’s Kaber’s signature move!"
The streamer Mude and the others shouted in excitement.
In an instant, everyone’s hearts were in their throats.
At this moment, a brilliant light erupted from Long Ming’s crimson eyes. A terrifying, blood-red aura burst from his body, sweeping in all directions.
Beast Mode: activated.
He stomped on the ground, transforming into a red phantom as he shot forward to meet the attack.
The two flashed past each other in an instant, then came to a stop.
"Who won?"
...
The crowd watched with bated breath.
SQUIRT~
Suddenly, Kaber’s neck was sliced open, and blood sprayed out.
"H-How is this possible!"
He collapsed to the ground, unable to accept his defeat.
"Bastard!"
Sedek shot to his feet in a rage, violently kicking over the table in front of him as he roared in fury.
"It’s over!"
"The Twilight Guild lost!"
"What’s there to be afraid of? Even if the Twilight Guild loses, it’s a draw, right? Everyone only bet on the Twilight Guild and the Dawn Guild, so all the money will be refunded."
"Are you a fucking idiot? Someone bet on the Red Ghost!"
"No way... Doesn’t that mean they win everything?"
"My money!"
...
A wave of wailing swept through the many gamblers in the arena.
Cleene watched Sedek’s furious and flustered expression, a brilliant smile spreading across her face.
Although she had lost the match, the Twilight Guild hadn’t gotten off easy either.
No one had expected a solo player to snatch the prize in the end.
But then again, this solo player was indeed quite formidable.
...
Just then, the two streamers excitedly addressed the camera.
"Ladies and gentlemen! The 3v3v3 mission has been completed by a solo player! This is something that hasn’t happened in over a hundred years!"
"It’s unbelievable!"
"Is this guy really that brave?"
"Snatching a mission from two major guilds and slapping them in the face?"
"Does he have a death wish?"
...
Countless bullet comments flooded the screen.
The streamers continued.
"Everyone, you must be curious about where this solo player came from. We’re going to interview him right now!"
"Go, go, go!"
...
Hearing this, the audience urged them on.
Mude and Bobiga walked over to Long Ming.
Long Ming slowly turned his head, his crimson eyes locking onto the two of them.
Mude and Bobiga felt an inexplicable shiver run through them, but they still smiled and said,
"Sir, we are the well-known streamers Mude and Bobiga, and we were in charge of broadcasting this battle. Congratulations on your victory. We’d like to interview you."
Long Ming looked at them, the light in his eyes flickering slightly, and spoke in his raspy voice.
"I’ll see you out."
"Huh?"
Mude and Bobiga were taken aback.
"Say thank you!"
After saying this to them, Long Ming drew his blood-red blade and, with a single horizontal slash, cut them both in half.
Blood splattered everywhere.
Mude and Bobiga didn’t even have time to react before they were slain.
The live broadcast instantly cut off.
"Holy shit, the guy killed the streamers."
"666!"
"This is the first time I’ve ever seen a play like that!"
...
The entire stream chat exploded.
