Chapter 114: If You Wake Them, You’re Responsible
Xiao Xiao rubbed her eyes forcefully, the face in front of her becoming more real, yet still dreamlike.
"How come, don’t recognize me?" Fu Xingzhou found it amusing; she looked exactly like a silly little girl.
"You, when did you come back?"
Fu Xingzhou pulled the quilt down a bit, revealing a few scratch marks on his bare chest. "Slept with me and thinking of denying it?"
Xiao Xiao’s previously short-circuited brain finally connected properly, and thinking of everything that had happened last night, her face flushed with excitement. She couldn’t help but wrap her arms around the man’s neck. "I thought I was dreaming."
"Do you often have such dreams?" Fu Xingzhou’s expression was asking for a beating.
"Not at all," Xiao Xiao denied quickly. "Why didn’t you mention it on the video call?"
"Would there be any surprise if I told you?" Fu Xingzhou pinched her cheek. "Do you want to relive last night’s dream?"
"No, I need to go to work." Xiao Xiao attempted to escape.
Fu Xingzhou caught her arm from behind, his hand encircling her slender waist where faint red marks from him could still be seen.
