"I miss my mom and dad..."
Chloe Grant murmured.
She’s not very old, and her mind isn’t mature. Like a typical child, when she feels hurt and upset, she longs for her parents to be by her side.
"Want to call them?" Matthew Morgan offered as he opened a bag of snacks, took something out, and brought it to her lips.
"No, I better not..." Chloe Grant shook her head.
Her dad had just reprimanded her earlier, probably still angry at the moment.
Plus, during the previous call, Chloe Grant kept hearing someone calling her dad, which probably means he’s busy, and calling now would be during his busy time.
