Chapter 33: Cutting Away the Unloved Split Ends
Chloe Grant’s attitude was very firm. The hairdresser wanted to say something more, but then heard the music coming from Chloe Grant’s headphones and chose to remain silent.
He placed the towel aside, using a comb to slightly arrange Chloe Grant’s hair.
Her hair quality was genuinely good; with just a few strokes, it was already smooth, straight, and long. It was truly a pity to cut it.
The hairdresser looked up, glancing at Chloe Grant through the mirror, noticing she was staring into it but her eyes seemed vacant, unfocused, as if she was lost in thought.
Perhaps she had experienced a breakup, or maybe she was dealing with something else.
The hairdresser sighed, turned around, picked up the scissors, pushed a chair over, sat down, and began to gently cut through Chloe Grant’s long hair, gauging the length as he went.
Locks of jet-black hair fell to the floor, Chloe Grant blinked, then lowered her gaze, watching her hair fall to the ground.
When she looked up again, she realized her jet-black long hair was gone, now just reaching below her ears.
