Chapter 19: Uncle Morgan’s Least Favorite Thing is Being Touched
Matthew Morgan seemed to notice she hadn't caught up, so he stopped walking, took his right hand out of his pocket, and loosened his tie a bit.
He turned his body slightly and glanced back at Chloe Grant.
His eyes clearly showed impatience and coldness.
Chloe shivered a little, quickly picked up her small short legs, and jogged to catch up.
Matthew turned back around, casually placing his hands in his pockets, and continued walking forward.
Where was he going?
Where did he want to take her?
How long would they walk?
Chloe kept up with him, but her head was filled with countless questions.
Plus, Matthew's legs were really long and his strides were big.
Chloe, being only 1.6 meters tall, didn't have long legs either, so keeping up with the man in front of her, whose body seemed all legs, was really exhausting.
