Lucas Morgan gently caressed Lily Grant's slightly reddened face, his face full of concern and urgency.
Turning back to look at Chloe Grant, his expression instantly turned fierce, frowning as he warned, "Have you become reckless since coming to the Morgan family, seeing how my mom and the elders dote on you?"
His tone was completely like that of an elder reprimanding a junior.
Chloe Grant lifted her head to look at him, calmly wiping away her tears.
She even forgot to feel sad and thought, over these years, has Lucas ever warned or scolded her in such a tone?
It seemed... only this time.
And Lucas Morgan evidently felt it wasn't enough, directly pulling Lily Grant over, holding her in his arms, declaring his authority, "She is not only your cousin, but also my future wife. From now on, you should call her Aunt. Chloe Grant, no matter how willful you are, I can tolerate you, but I will not allow you to act out against Lily Grant."
"Lucas, what are you doing?" Lily quickly tapped Lucas Morgan, complaining, "I know you are good to me, but there's no need to provoke my cousin like this; she's already very upset."
As Lily Grant spoke, she walked toward Chloe Grant, squatting down, intent on helping her, but Chloe's eyes instantly darkened, glaring at her coldly, "Don't touch me!"
