Chapter 211: Master, I Knocked Him Out and Brought Him Back
Garou had thought that after growing stronger, he would finally be able to fight Satoru Suzuki on equal footing.
He was wrong.
Within moments, Satoru suppressed him once again.
The gap between them remained vast, almost impossible to cross.
Still, Garou was doing far better than before. At the very least, he could now withstand the pressure without being overwhelmed immediately.
As their battle continued, the two deliberately shifted away from the park and entered the surrounding woods.
After another brief exchange, several fresh wounds appeared across Garou's body.
Blood soaked his clothes, and his expression grew increasingly grave.
He understood the situation now.
Mumen Rider was not an opponent he could hunt at his current level.
It was better to escape first.
The situation was almost absurd.
Garou had defeated Tanktop Master, an S Class Hero, yet Mumen Rider, who was only ranked in A Class, suppressed him in every aspect.
Without another word, Garou turned and darted deeper into the woods.
He leapt between the trees, pushing his speed to the limit as he tried to escape.
The instant he turned his back, however, he exposed a perfect opening.
Satoru lowered his stance slightly and placed one hand on his sword.
Ten thousand arcs of lightning erupted around him.
Golden electricity flashed within his eyes.
"Thunder Breathing, Seventh Form."
His sword left its sheath.
The world seemed to flash gold.
Satoru vanished from where he stood, and the thunder surrounding his sword gathered into the shape of a massive golden dragon.
It tore through the forest after Garou.
"Flaming Thunder God!"
Garou barely had time to sense the danger behind him.
The sword struck the back of his neck.
Satoru had deliberately restrained his strength and used the back of the sword, but the impact was still enough to end the battle.
Garou fell from the tree and crashed into the ground.
His eyes rolled back, and his body went still.
He had completely lost consciousness.
Satoru calmly returned his sword to its sheath.
Then he walked over, lifted Garou onto his shoulder, and returned to the path near the park.
He retrieved his bicycle and hid nearby.
Only after the ambulances arrived and took away Tanktop Master and the other injured men did Satoru finally relax.
With Garou still hanging over his shoulder, he disappeared into the night.
He was heading back to the dojo.
Inside the sword, Asuramaru reviewed everything he had witnessed.
He now had a slightly clearer understanding of the limiter.
Breaking it seemed to require an exceptionally firm will.
Saitama, Garou, and Satoru all possessed convictions that could not easily be shaken.
Each of them had also surpassed their own limits under extreme circumstances.
Perhaps those were the two necessary conditions.
An unyielding will.
And the determination to push beyond the limits of one's body.
If an opportunity appeared in the future, it might be worth testing.
At the outskirts of City Z, the dojo stood beneath the moonlit sky.
Inside the training hall, Bang stood with his hands behind his back.
His gaze rested upon the plaque hanging above him.
Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.
A voice suddenly came from behind.
"Have you finished handling everything on your side? You called me here in quite a hurry."
Bang turned around.
"I'm only a lonely old man. Aren't you the same?"
At the entrance to the dojo, beneath the pale moonlight, stood another elderly figure.
The newcomer wore a green martial arts uniform. The top of his head was bald, but long white hair fell all the way to his waist.
Despite his age, pride and strength remained clear upon his face.
He was Bomb, master of the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist.
"Are you joking?" Bomb replied. "I just said goodbye to several hundred disciples."
A rare smile appeared on Bang's face.
"To abandon everything and hurry here for the sake of your adorable younger brother. Only an older brother would do something like that."
Bomb's expression remained serious.
"That brat Garou would eventually come to challenge my dojo if no one stopped him."
He turned toward the exit.
"Enough talking. Let's go."
Bang followed behind him, his expression equally grave.
"Be careful, Brother. I can no longer imagine how strong Garou has become."
"Strong enough that you needed to call me."
The two left the dojo together.
But the moment they stepped into the moonlight, they saw a dark figure standing near the entrance.
Both old men immediately became alert.
As the figure approached, they finally recognised the newcomer.
It was Satoru Suzuki.
And he was carrying someone beneath one arm.
Bang stared at the unconscious figure in confusion.
"Satoru, why have you come back?"
His eyes narrowed slightly.
"And who are you carrying?"
Beside him, Bomb was also carefully observing the young man.
Bang had praised this disciple countless times, and Bomb had long been curious to see him for himself.
Satoru approached the entrance and placed Garou on the ground.
Then he spoke with complete seriousness.
"Master, I encountered Garou on my way home, so I knocked him unconscious and brought him back to you."
The way he said it sounded almost casual.
As though he had attended a banquet and brought home a table full of leftovers.
Bang and Bomb stared at him.
"Is that Garou?" Bomb asked in disbelief.
Bang hurried forward.
The moment he saw the unconscious man's face, he immediately recognised him.
"It really is Garou!"
He looked back at Satoru in shock.
"How did you do this?"
Bomb also turned a curious gaze toward him.
Under the intense stares of the two elderly martial artists, Satoru could only answer honestly.
"I struck him once and knocked him unconscious."
Bang and Bomb fell silent.
Garou possessed terrifying talent.
Neither of them could predict how much stronger he might have become during his time as the Hero Hunter.
To be safe, Bang had even summoned Bomb for help.
Yet before the two brothers could leave the dojo, Satoru had already defeated Garou and carried him back.
At the very least, this meant Garou had not yet grown beyond their control.
Bang finally released the breath he had been holding.
Bomb's curiosity only deepened.
"Tell us exactly what happened."
Satoru nodded and recounted the entire encounter without concealing anything.
After hearing the story, Bang looked down at Garou with a complicated expression.
Satoru noticed the pain in his master's eyes and gave him a bright smile.
"Master, I don't know what happened to Senior Brother."
His voice was sincere.
"But I am certain that he is actually a good person."
"So you don't need to worry too much."
The gentle words softened Bang's expression.
He nodded slowly.
Bomb's brow twitched as he watched from the side.
It appeared Bang had not exaggerated at all.
Talent, strength, and character.
This young man lacked none of them.
Bomb could not help feeling envious.
He wanted a disciple like this too.
Satoru did not remain at the dojo for long.
After bidding farewell to both masters, he mounted his bicycle and returned to his home for the first time in quite a while.
Several days passed.
During that time, Bang repeatedly tried to untangle the knot in Garou's heart.
Unfortunately, he failed.
In the end, Garou could only be sent to prison.
Meanwhile, Satoru remained at the dojo and began learning the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist from Bomb.
At the same time, he continued practising the Breathing Style created by Bang.
Beyond the dojo, however, hidden currents were surging.
Amai Mask had begun operating from the shadows.
The news spread rapidly.
S Class Hero Tanktop Master had been defeated by the Hero Hunter Garou.
At the most dangerous moment, A Class Hero Mumen Rider had appeared and single handedly turned the situation around.
.....
