I Became a Demon Sword and Traveled the Anime Worlds

Chapter 203: Why Bring a Gift?

If the killing continued at this pace, the Monster Association would lose more Monsters than it could replenish.

Worse still, that human was growing stronger.

The longer this dragged on, the more disadvantageous it became for them.

The Monsters gathered around the hall were already uneasy. Some lowered their heads, some glanced around in panic, and some could barely hide the fear in their eyes.

Fortunately, Psykos, who had been watching from below, saw through Orochi's thoughts.

She stepped forward and spoke.

"Lord Orochi, there is no need to panic. I have already devised a countermeasure."

Her voice was calm, carrying the confidence of someone who had already calculated the next move.

"We are merely waiting for the perfect moment to execute the plan and completely overturn this world."

Orochi's eyes turned toward her.

"Speak."

Psykos slowly voiced her thoughts.

"Although the current situation is unfavorable to us, what we need most right now is time."

"We must wait for the proper moment, when timing, terrain, and people are all aligned."

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"Therefore, we need to delay."

"The others do not matter. What matters most is suppressing that human."

"Based on the partial intelligence I have gathered, I have already formulated a plan."

A faint smile appeared on Psykos's face.

"We will use human greed to stall him for us."

After hearing her idea, Orochi did not ask too many questions.

When it came to strategy, Psykos was the true brain of the Monster Association.

He could trust her to handle this.

"Then I will leave it to you."

"As you command, Lord Orochi."

Psykos lowered her head slightly.

Then her gaze shifted toward one of the Monster figures within the association.

A sinister smile slowly appeared on her face.

On the other side, Satoru Suzuki and Bang had already arrived at a secluded residence deep in the mountains of City P.

In the courtyard, a middle aged man dressed in samurai attire was practicing his swordsmanship.

A gentle breeze passed.

A leaf fell from the tree in front of him.

The next moment, a dark shadow flashed.

The falling leaf was sliced into countless pieces before it could touch the ground.

The man sheathed his sword.

Only then did he turn his head toward the newcomers.

When he saw Bang's elderly figure, he immediately walked over with a smile.

"Bang, it's been a while."

His gaze shifted between them.

"So, did you come to see me for something specific?"

With his slightly hunched posture, Bang smiled.

"Can't you tell, Kamikaze? I really did come to ask a favor this time."

As the two spoke, Satoru Suzuki stood behind Bang and looked curiously at the figure before him.

This was the S Class Rank 4 Hero.

Atomic Samurai.

A man said to be capable of cutting even atoms apart with his sword.

As a fellow swordsman, Satoru could clearly feel the powerful aura surrounding him.

Atomic Samurai also noticed Satoru.

He sensed the young man's strong presence at once.

Clearly, this was also someone skilled with a sword.

And he was so young.

His talent must be impressive.

Atomic Samurai immediately understood what Bang was here for.

He could not help laughing.

"You suddenly show up like this. Why bother bringing me a gift?"

He looked at Satoru with interest.

"I'll take this disciple."

Bang froze for a moment.

After regaining his composure, he quickly explained, "Kamikaze, this is my disciple, Satoru Suzuki."

"Your disciple?"

Atomic Samurai's expression froze.

For a moment, he looked genuinely embarrassed.

Then he sighed helplessly.

"Such a promising seedling for the path of the sword, yet you took him to practice fist techniques?"

He shook his head with regret.

"What a waste. Why not join my school instead and practice the sword with me?"

If anyone else had said those words to Bang's face, he might have taken offense.

But Bang merely smiled without minding it.

"We came here today hoping you could give my disciple some guidance in swordsmanship."

"You came all the way here just to take advantage of me?"

Atomic Samurai immediately looked displeased.

"Teaching him is fine, but at least let him become my registered disciple."

As he spoke, he looked directly at Satoru.

Satoru could only turn to Bang.

Only after Bang nodded did Satoru step forward and speak respectfully.

"Please guide me."

Although he did not say it outright, everyone present understood what he meant.

Atomic Samurai was not stingy with instruction.

With a piece of grass held in his mouth, he smiled.

"Attack me. Let me see your level."

"Then please excuse my rudeness."

Satoru immediately drew the sword at his waist and charged forward with both hands gripping the hilt.

The moment Atomic Samurai saw the sword, his eyes were caught.

For some reason, he could not look away.

As a Sword Saint, he could tell at a single glance that this sword was extraordinary.

It attracted him at every turn, radiating a temptation that felt almost fatal.

Could this feeling be the legendary Moon Wheel?

While that thought flashed through his mind, Satoru's sword had already arrived in front of him.

Atomic Samurai quickly dodged and exchanged moves with him.

After only a few clashes, he had already determined Satoru's approximate level.

"All right, that's enough."

Hearing this, Satoru immediately stopped, sheathed his sword, and stood in place to wait for instruction.

Bang stood not far away, quietly watching.

Atomic Samurai stepped forward with a serious expression.

"Can I take a look at the sword in your hand?"

Hearing this request, Satoru's first reaction was to ask Asuramaru's opinion in his mind.

The answer he received was simple.

"As you wish."

After a moment of silence, Satoru still handed the sword forward.

"Of course."

Since Atomic Samurai was willing to share his techniques and guidance without reservation, this was the only return Satoru could offer.

Atomic Samurai accepted the sword respectfully.

The first thing he felt was an indescribable sensation.

It was as though this sword and he were perfectly matched.

As though it had been forged specifically for him.

He carefully drew the sword from its sheath.

Looking at its sharp edge, Atomic Samurai became even more certain of its value.

Perhaps it truly was the legendary Moon Wheel.

Even so, he had no intention of taking it for himself.

After examining it for a moment, he handed the sword back.

Without asking anything further, he spoke directly.

"Next, I will teach you with everything I have."

His gaze became serious.

"As for how much you can learn, that will depend on your own ability."

"Thank you very much."

Satoru respectfully took the sword back and answered with firm determination.

After all, he still carried his own mission.

He would never give up on Asuramaru so easily.

What Satoru did not know was that Asuramaru, inside the sword, was also learning Atomic Samurai's Atomic Slash.

Time passed quickly.

Three days later, a special news conference was suddenly held on television.

The organizer was a well known billionaire from City J.

At the conference, the billionaire publicly released several videos.

The footage clearly showed Sonic slaughtering large numbers of Monsters.

Just as everyone watching began to wonder what this was about, the billionaire finally revealed the truth.

"As all of you have seen, through my investigation, the sword in the hands of the current S Class Hero, Black Flash, is very likely the legendary god who governs swords."

His voice grew louder.

"Asuramaru!"

The entire venue stirred.

The billionaire continued.

"Simply by hunting Monsters, the Sword Master can rapidly become stronger. Not only that, this sword also possesses many incredible powers."

His expression turned righteous, but greed burned beneath his words.

"When you clearly possess a secret that could allow everyone to become stronger, why hide it for yourself?"

"Why can't you proactively contribute it so researchers can study its mysteries?"

He pointed toward the camera, his voice full of accusation.

"You selfish fellow!"
