I Became a Demon Sword and Traveled the Anime Worlds

Chapter 133: Little Sunflower Class Is in Session

Nobara Kugisaki looked at the Kyoto students across from her and clicked her tongue.

"Enough talking. Hurry up and hand over the greeting gifts."

Beside her, Toge Inumaki immediately agreed.

"Salmon."

Because of his Cursed Speech, normal conversation was dangerous for him. Over time, he had simply replaced ordinary words with harmless ingredients, letting everyone around him interpret the meaning for themselves.

Across from them, a girl from Kyoto Jujutsu High hovered with a broom in hand. Momo Nishimiya looked at Nobara with a slight shiver.

"What's with that first-year?" she muttered. "Scary…"

Next to her, the Cursed Corpse known as Mechamaru spoke in a flat mechanical voice.

"Okkotsu being absent is one thing, but bringing three first-years? This gives us far too much of an advantage."

"A Jujutsu Sorcerer's strength is not determined by age."

Kamo Noritoshi narrowed his eyes slightly, his gaze shifting toward Megumi Fushiguro.

"Especially Fushiguro-kun. He carries Zen'in blood, yet he is far more promising than most members of the main family."

Those words immediately made Zen'in Mai's expression darken.

The atmosphere between the Kyoto students sharpened at once, but before Mai could snap back, the blue-haired girl beside them hurriedly stepped in.

"Please, both of you, calm down."

Kasumi Miwa tried to smooth things over with a nervous smile.

Only then did Utahime Iori slowly descend the stairs. She wore a miko-style outfit, and the scar on her face gave her already serious expression an extra edge.

"Honestly, you kids…"

She sighed, then looked around.

"Anyway, where's that idiot?"

The moment those words left her mouth, the Tokyo students began complaining without hesitation.

Maki Zen'in put her hands on her hips and spoke first.

"How could that idiot ever be on time?"

Megumi followed with a sharp, quiet remark.

"Has anyone ever doubted that the 'idiot' refers to Gojo-sensei?"

Hearing the complaints coming from every direction, Yuji Itadori stood among them with an awkward expression.

He wanted to say something.

He failed.

Fortunately, Satoru Gojo soon came jogging over with his usual carefree steps, one hand raised in greeting. In his other hand, he carried the souvenirs he had prepared.

"Everyone's here! Great, great."

Gojo smiled brightly as he approached the Kyoto students.

"I was away on an overseas business trip, so I brought souvenirs for everyone. These are charms from a certain tribe."

As he spoke, he began handing out pink cloth dolls to the Kyoto side one by one.

Then he added cheerfully, "None for Utahime."

"I don't want one anyway!"

Utahime immediately stepped forward and snapped at him.

Gojo remained completely unfazed. His smile did not even tremble. Instead, he looked past her toward the two principals, his gaze settling deliberately on the elderly man among them.

"Principal Gakuganji," Gojo said with exaggerated concern, "you shouldn't be running around at your age. What if you suddenly drop dead?"

"You damn brat!"

On Gakuganji Yoshinobu's wrinkled face, his cloudy eyes burned with pure anger.

Still, this was only a minor interruption.

Masamichi Yaga, principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High, stepped forward and announced the rules in a steady voice.

"The first day will be a team battle. The first team to exorcise the designated Grade 2 Cursed Spirit within the area wins."

Everyone quieted.

"There are also many Grade 3 Cursed Spirits placed throughout the field. If no winner is decided by nightfall, the team with the greater number of exorcisms will be declared the victor."

Yaga's gaze swept across both teams.

"Interference with opponents is permitted during the match. However, killing your opponents or causing serious injury is strictly forbidden."

He paused.

"The match begins at noon. Until then, dismissed."

With that, both sides dispersed.

Yuji followed the others to a lounge inside Jujutsu High and listened closely as they discussed the plan. The atmosphere in the room was much looser than he expected, but no one was careless. Even Nobara, who complained the loudest, paid attention when strategy came up.

Time passed quickly.

Before long, noon was approaching.

The Tokyo team gathered at one of Jujutsu High's forest exits.

Nobara walked ahead slowly, raised one hand, and grinned.

"Let's win so hard they never forget it. Beat them black and blue, if only for Maki-san's sake."

Behind her, Inumaki nodded.

"Pollock roe."

Panda folded his arms, his voice deep and serious.

"That's right. Even if it's just for Maki."

Seeing everyone so motivated, Yuji relaxed slightly.

For the first time in days, a genuine smile returned to his face.

But that smile did not erase what had changed inside him.

His determination remained.

He would kill curses.

Every single one.

"All right!" Yuji ran to catch up with them. "We're definitely winning this!"

The group left Jujutsu High and headed toward the designated area.

Inside Yuji, Asuramaru watched the scene with interest.

He was curious how Kenjaku would carry out his plan this time.

Would things still follow the original course?

If they did, then Hanami might die here.

Outside, Yuji's group sprinted through the forest.

Megumi's black Divine Dogs ran at the front, leading the way through the trees. The forest was dense, shadows shifting between trunks as the team moved swiftly across uneven ground.

Maki glanced back while running.

"Stick to the plan. When the time comes, we split into two teams."

Her eyes landed on Yuji.

"After that, we're counting on you."

Yuji smiled.

"Leave it to me!"

Even without using Asuramaru's power, he was no longer the same as before.

His body had grown stronger.

His Cursed Energy had grown denser.

His instincts had been sharpened by a fight against three Disaster Curses and a night of slaughtering Cursed Spirits until collapse.

Just as his words fell, a Cursed Spirit appeared directly ahead.

But before the team could move, a burly figure rushed out from the side.

The newcomer was shirtless, heavily muscled, and radiating the kind of overwhelming physical presence that made even the forest seem too narrow for him.

Aoi Todo.

"Good," Todo said, grin spreading across his face. "Everyone's here."

Yuji reacted first.

He stepped forward and threw a punch.

Todo took it head-on.

The impact sent his large body sliding backward, his feet digging trenches into the dirt.

Behind Yuji, Megumi and the others instantly moved according to plan. They bypassed Todo, splitting into two teams and scattering in different directions.

Only Yuji remained.

Inside him, Asuramaru watched Todo stabilize himself and could not help commenting.

"It looks like Little Sunflower Class is about to begin."

Todo rolled his shoulders.

Then he raised one muscular arm and clenched his fist, excitement flashing across his face.

"First-year!"

Cursed Energy gathered around his fist.

"Here's your payback. Defend with everything you've got!"

Todo stepped forward.

His punch came like a cannon shot.

Yuji immediately raised both arms to block.

The impact slammed into him, forcing his body backward several meters. His feet scraped across the ground before he managed to stop himself.

So heavy!

Yuji barely had time to register the strength behind the blow before Todo attacked again.

He moved in, and Yuji answered with a punch of his own.

Their fists collided.

The sound echoed through the trees.

The two clashed head-on, fist against fist, shoulder against shoulder, Cursed Energy bursting with each exchange. Yuji did not summon Asuramaru's swords. This was not a battle to the death. More importantly, he wanted to grow stronger with his own body.

Todo's excitement grew with every exchange.

He had not expected this.

A first-year with physical strength near his own, Cursed Energy control good enough to fight directly, and a fighting spirit that did not shrink back under pressure.

Another Grade 1-level fighter.

Right here.

In this forest.

Their fists collided again.

Both of them slid backward.

Todo finally raised his head and spoke.

"First-year Yuji Itadori."

Yuji looked at him warily. "What?"

Todo's expression turned deadly serious.

"I have one question for you."

The air seemed to freeze.

Yuji tensed.

Todo asked, with the gravity of a man demanding the truth of the universe, "What kind of woman is your type?"

Yuji froze.

"Huh?"

"What kind of woman is your type?" Todo repeated.

Yuji blinked.

Then, after thinking about it seriously, he answered.

"If I had to say… tall girls with big butts. Like Jennifer Lawrence."

The forest went silent.

Todo's eyes widened.

In that instant, his mind traveled somewhere no one else could see.

A world that did not exist unfolded before him.

He and Yuji attended the same high school.

They sat in the same classroom, walked the same halls, and shared lunches under the warm afternoon sun. They laughed together, cried together, comforted each other through heartbreak, and walked home side by side at dusk beneath an orange sky.

A friendship deeper than time.

A bond forged by taste, spirit, and destiny.

When Todo returned to reality, tears were streaming down his face.

Snot ran freely from his nose.

He stared at Yuji with overwhelming emotion.

"So that's how it is…"

His voice trembled.

"We are soul brothers!"
