This cursed being, arising from abandoned infants or improperly handled stillbirths, only attacks pregnant women, eroding their life force until the victim nears death.

But Kun Lan is the highest rank of demon hunters in the organization, and deemed it likely; based on all signs, it seemed to be a Corpse Baby. Yet the one in the Earl’s castle was abnormal, not only attacking pregnant women, with intense grievances, but also indiscriminately attacking gardeners and servants in the castle.
