Doringger had his own private harbor, which naturally was also occupied by Black Sail.
This bay shore was far more exquisite than the regular berthing area, with well-developed infrastructure. The pier was crescent-shaped and built of stone, and the road from this bay shore to the Inner City was also paved with stone slabs.
Not like the compacted earth in the Outer City, which turned into sludge whenever it rained. That wouldn’t happen anymore, with the new district set up as East Sea CBD.
Docked here were all ships of Black Sail, belonging to corporate property: SS Fuma Keqing Revenge, Daffodil, Dawn Breaker.
Besides these, there were about eighty other ships, both large and small, including Doringger’s own fleet and vessels left behind by the Peak Competition Pirate Group.
These Peak Competition ships had quite reputable stories attached to them over seventeen years, truly the stuff of legends.
It wasn’t an all-out war, so there was no need to dispatch so many ships. Considering the speed of sailing, one battleship and four medium-sized ships would be enough.
All materials were ready, able to weigh anchor and set sail at any moment.
However, Swan believed that the crew selection had to be meticulously done. He still needed to tally them up, and it would take another hour or two to depart.
Doringger knew how to enjoy life.
On the open ground in his private harbor, there was a small manor from which one could oversee the entire bay area, and many wooden buildings were available for Doringger’s managerial staff and the armed personnel who were preparing for battle.
