Chapter 363: CCCLXIII. Main Tower
Fen had obtained useful intelligence; it was necessary to visit that shipyard island.
At this point, Black Sail’s general strategy was quite clear, aiming to deal with all the messes before June, including the remnants of Doringger and surrounding external enemies, and to formally begin earning revenues.
The castle served as the final stronghold where all core personnel and troops would be stationed.
The Sea God was currently under repair and being modified to serve as the headquarters of the Black Sail Trading Company. According to Fen’s plan, the strategy was to first slowly nibble away at some of the smaller inland border countries, establishing footholds and implementing a suzerainty policy to generate income.
The shipyard island would serve as an arsenal as well as the second base. If Heaven Port were besieged, it could also open up a second front so that it wouldn’t collapse at the first wave.
"How shall we handle these three now?"
Ernie inquired of Fen.
Ox was currently recuperating. He trusted Ox and believed that Liszt would subsequently invest funds to channel back into Dead Man Bay and reopen trade between the Mirror Sea and the outside world.
After bringing benefits to the Mirror Sea, it would be possible to revive the Old Mirror Sea Alliance, or rather a new one. Admittedly, this would be fraught with difficulties, but only by doing so, by opening up new territories in the Mirror Sea, could the endless internal strife and killing be halted.
After pondering for a while, Fen decided that Mo’er must not be killed. The Sergeant, with an arm missing, posed limited threat, and although not as knowledgeable about Doringger as Mo’er, this remnant from the old regime still had a wealth of information that could be extracted.
"Keep an eye on these two men for now. As for that woman..." Fen looked at Chiyoda, "Technically, you could be considered a mercenary, working for anyone is all the same. We could employ you as a security consultant. However, there will be a probation period. What do you think? Of course, I would impose some restrictions, such as using Magic Technique to locate you at all times."
