Black Sail

Chapter 311: CCCXI. The Strongest Leader

As the historians under Celeste had conjectured, a massive wealth was piled up inside the Central Temple.

Who would have thought that such terrifying treasure would be hidden deep within an unnamed island, in a dark pit where not even daylight could reach, and totally unguarded?

The deeper Liszt ventured, the more amazed he became, wondering if he were living in a dream.

Even Haywood, who was not particularly interested in treasures, couldn’t help but bend over, sifting through the scattered golden items and jewels—the amount was simply too exaggerated.

Using the Light Illumination Technique to continue their exploration, Celeste found the piles of golden items growing, even reaching halfway up their calves.

Suddenly,

Celeste and Haywood were startled by Liszt.

"Gaia!"

Liszt, as if he were an Ultraman in human form, let out a nonsensical shout, too thrilled for words. With this money, setting up a grand army would be a breeze, not to mention outmatching the Emperor or Doringger. Beima Duchy, or maybe even the singer, would be nothing in comparison.

But then it occurred to Liszt that he needed to seal this place immediately. Without his permission, no one else could come in, not even a member of the board of directors.

This money could even fund several Black Sail factions.
