Dreya yawned with her hand over her mouth while a lazy cat lay on her legs. Meredith had been "too busy" these days, being the mainstay of the family. She was suffering from a sore back and was taking a sweet nap on Dreya’s legs.
Goria was cooking lunch downstairs in the kitchen.
Dreya was somewhat worried, Liszt had actually eloped with his girlfriend, perhaps due to being too busy. Mo Yutong hadn’t come home these last few days, that rascal either.
She was forever flipping through books, searching for ways to prolong life, although Liszt was young now, to her, time flew like a white steed flitting past a gap. Liszt didn’t have many decades left, and this was already Dreya’s twenty-ninth decade.
After Start of Spring, though the snow hadn’t melted, the gloomy skies gradually cleared.
The noon sunlight, filtering through dense leaves, cast dappled light onto the forest where Dreya carefully lifted Meredith’s head and propped it with a pillow. The girl needed some replenishment, probably from indulging too much lately.
She got out of bed and slightly drew the curtains.
Dreya was also searching through books for the whereabouts of the Junlin Sword. Historically, it wasn’t rare for people to collect them, with the record being seventeen, but their whereabouts later became unknown.
The most baffling story was about that Radiant Knight who came from beyond the stars, the regicidal sword had never been heard from again. Perhaps that sword was the main one.
